I notice no one is excited about mechagnomes

This type of false protection on things that are not true can only come from someone who puts their profile on “private”. Let’s check … and yea, not surprised.

In BC 80% of the people on horde side wanted a good looking race and Elf was not too far from that ask. I have no idea what the hell you talking about. And no, not one … LITERALLY no one wanted mechagnomes. Stop being delusional and pretend like they did. Link me some posts but if you can’t please stf u.

Okay, if you say so! Also…

So LITERALLY one person who wanted them immediately renders your statement false.

I think they look interesting, if I was going to play a gnome it would be the mecha ones, but I have always been obsessed with foxes ^.^

Considering that gnomes with diaper legs and robot arms is a new thing introduced in BFA. I don’t see how his statement can be false.

Gnomes are only good for punting, even their mechanized versions.

As soon as 1 person states they wanted them his statement is proven false, what part of that is hard?

Eat a Snickers. You missed the point.

The concept didn’t exist before BFA, therefore making it impossible for someone to want it. How is that Hard?

Are you really tying…

to

?

Mechagnomes were created as an AR. Let’s not pretend they were randomly chosen to be one, it was clear they would be an AR from the beginning. So it’s impossible for someone to want them before Blizz already decided.

Mechagnomes existed as NPC characters long before BFA. Yes, they were fully mech, but they are where gnomes came from. Let’s not pretend they are a new addition, even if Junkers…partially converted, modified, whatever we want to call them…are more recent the concept of mechagnomes in wow has existed as lore as long as gnomes have.

No, the current mechagnomes are completely different from the robot versions both in culture and looks.

Ok, so then we can apply

to Panderans, Vulpera, Sethrak, or Saberon…or any other race that has been introduced post-Vanilla launch. If that’s where you’re going then sure, you could say no one has wanted to play a race that hasn’t already been put in the game…simply because they weren’t there to want. Is there a point in here somewhere?

The title of the thread is factually incorrect, and as of the launch of Mechagon when Junkers were first seen in the game and well before they were announced as an AR, there were threads asking for them.

Lol, the very first big thread asking for them was made by a Horde tauren asking for them to make fun of the Alliance (he had done that with other races). I even posted there, and that was the only thread in favor for days, while there were many against it.

…Yeah I used to spend way too much time in the forums back then.

And we’re still posting in that Megathread. Sethrak hope hasn’t died. :snake::crossed_fingers:

I think vulpera get extra forum activity because horde have underutilized short characters (3.5 % of horde characters are goblins) compared to around 5% are gnome. At level 120, there are 40% more gnomes than goblins. There is excitement because there is a missing niche horde side. The alliance is not really getting a new coverage, they are getting more gnomey gnomes.

Secondly, vulpera has a chunk of the horde who feel that vulpera are the end of the horde. There has not been a racial add this controversial since BC added belfs which creates an environment where people can troll while not trolling at all.

Vulpera are the allied race for Goblins.
The point I’m making is the Alliance have an entirely new race, the creators spent much time and energy on them. Alliance players have nothing to complain about.

No, Vulpera are not Goblins. Kelfin would be the Goblin Allied race, as a direct comparison. You seem to be confusing race with rigging or skeleton, which isn’t the same thing.

A Kul Tiran is still just a Human, like a Zandalari is still just a Troll.

Also, I’m not complaining about anything. I like my MechaGnomes!
