I want to get Aluneth, a legion artifact weapon. How do I start this? No NPC runs up to me, and I have no clue how to begin otherwise.
Have you leveled a character to 70 yet?
Several. This one is actually 60. The thing is out of date.
So on characters that’s not level 60 yet, get to chromie in orgrimmar/stormwind
Enable legion, do the intro, then as You’re walking around dalaran your class hall NPC shows up
Start that and then you can start on your legion artifact

You need to do the intro to Dalaran and then you should get someone coming to you. Check your setting for low level quests, too.
If you don’t, I’d check the Wowhead site and make sure there’s nothing that’s phasing it or something.
Level 70 is irrelevant.
That doesn’t make sense. I ran the class hall on my 70 hunter a while back and got theirs.
If you’re not getting the npc running up to you, you should go to the hero’s call board, and pick up the legion intro quest. Do it, the skip is fine if you have it unlocked, and you should get the npc running up to you in legion dal

It’s cause it’s easier to enable it while leveling
Cause when you do it past 60, the heros call board doesn’t show it so you had to go to the OTHER things first before the legion one shows up
That’s why I say do it on a leveling character that’s a mage
So yes having a character at 70 is relevant so that your alts can have chromie time
Also if you have the dragon isle’s intro quest, SL, BFA, or any of the other expac intro quests can also mess it up cuz of phasing.

@Ana The call bord had it, and it took me to Dalaran, but still no NPC.
Sometimes it takes a couple minutes. Wander around.

No. I haven’t done a thing.
I went back to SW, dropped the DF breadcrumb, and went back. Still nothing. But, I’ll wait a bit and see.
Someone else had that problem, trying to see if I can find out what the problem was.
Might take a few since I’m at work and my wifi is also trash, but I’ll reply when I find what worked for them.
That’s why I said do it on a new character because you’re likely bugged/phased…
It can’t be bugged in chromie time because you’re actually scaled
Unlocking the portal to the Class Hall is simple. After you complete
In the Blink of an Eye, you will end up in Legion Dalaran. Once in Legion Dalaran, an NPC will approach you with an urgent message (you may have to run around a little to get the NPC to spawn). This will start your Artifact Acquisition questline, which will award you an Artifact Weapon for one spec, unlock your Class Hall, open up your mission table, and quest map.
If none of this is working, I’d suggest asking in the Customer Support forums. Those people are super good at finding info.
Do you have any of these quests in your quest log?
If when you have trival quests tracked, do you see any from this quest list anywhere on the legion map/dal?
If not, then yeah, customer support is good at helping you figure out what is wrong.
I got it. It was, indeed, a phasing issue. I just completed the DF breadcrumb and it worked. Abandoning it didn’t seem to do the trick.
