I need more info on Groups in WeakAuras

I'm used to using Kalerts where the ability to move around icons seems more intuitive. I want to create a group of static icons that mirror my toolbar in order with numbers indicating the keybind (e.g., Kill Command is button #3) and yet I want the benefits of the dynamic group that indicate the rotation. So, basically there would be 6 frequently used casts always visible and in the same order, and different ones would 'light' when it's optimal to be casting it. So, far it seems that I have the option of moving each one in a 'group', one at a time or using a 'dynamic group' but then there order is random.
The default order isn't random in a dynamic group, unless you really messed with a lot of dynamic group options. The default order of icons is based on the order that they are in the group.

So if you're looking at the WA options window and expand the group to see it's children and saw (top-to-bottom)
WA-C
WA-A
WA-B

Then that's the order they will appear in on screen.
C-A-B

If you want to see A-B-C, move WA-C below WA-B in the Group.

The dynamic comes into play with the logic to hide/unhide WA's

For example, if WA-B represented an ability that was from a talent and your load options only showed it when the talent was selected, in a static group you would see
A-(blank space)-C

but in a dynamic group you would see
A-C

Weak Auras is really good at showing cooldowns and status info in a heads up display that works for you and allows you to keep you're eyes on your opponent instead of ping ponging all over the screen.

You can make it into a rotation helper: simulating reordering (many icons for the same thing but logic to hide and show just one) or making icons glow, pulse, or make sounds, but you may want to use a dedicated add-on for that like Hekili.
