I want to level an alt.
No mages or rogues.
I have a couple of those and I suck at playing them.
Any suggestions?
Honestly? I could toss out all of my favorite classes, as can everyone else. The problem is, you aren’t the rest of us. Hell, one of my suggestions would have been mage, but you’ve already said no to that.
In case it isn’t obvious, just because I like a certain class, that doesn’t mean you’ll like a class.
Best advice I can offer is this: think of your overall playstyle and what classes you already have leveled up that you enjoy. That would be the best starting point for this sort of thing. Past that, if there’s a group role you’ve not tried (I’m going to say healing as a DH can do both DPS and tanking), then try it out over different classes/specs.
Playing a priest but don’t care for Holy? Swap over to Discipline.
Not liking priests in general? Try something else! Perhaps a Mistweaver monk is more your style?
You’re ultimately the one that’s going to decide what you do and do not like, so don’t play a class just because someone suggested it. Experiment and determine what YOU like. That’s part of what makes MMOs fun!

Well, if you’re like me and get confused with all the button bloat (I’m old and confuse easily in these games) try a ret pally or a frost dk. If I can use them and have fun then anybody can. GL finding something you like. Just experiment and have fun.
I’m totally over the button bloat.
I only want to push 4 buttons, none of them an interrupt or self heal.
So I guess warlock it is.

Oh there arent enough ally shamans. I have a dark iron elemental shaman and I just love him, best decision I ever made.

Ret Pally is also in this category. 4 main DPS buttons +3 CDs that all line up so you can just pop them all at once and watch yout DPS meter go brrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Hunter is probably the simplest to be good at. Paladin as others have said has an easier rotation. Good big defensive cd’s as well. I think every class has a spec thats easier.

I would suggest leveling a class other than mage or rogue.
To pick, you could assign each remaining class a number. Take a chance and roll!

You could go a step further and assign number to specs, too. Keep things fun.
