I need a mothers day gift idea for the wife

Greetings my loving alpacas, today is a special day, its mothers day! Be me being a silly goofy husband, i forgot to buy her a gift!

The kids already give my sugar muffin their presents and distracting her as i ordered to buy me some time. I dress up nicely, so i got that part cover, but i require a genius idea for a gift and where else to ask intelligent advices then the GD forum users! The present must be something special, not some boring last resort idea like flowers, those things cost too much and my wife would beat me into submission with it!

If you have any good idea for a gift to a sometime bipolar strong sexy brown orc lady, plz inform ol Fleb. If i dont make her happy with it, she might break my legs like last time and i would like to avoid that ending pretty plz

Thank you and happy mother’s day!

THE SEVERED HEADS OF HER ENEMIES and also a trip to your local spa for a mani/pedi.

Mother’s Day is for your mother, not your wife.

Tovi, that’s a ridiculous statement. He needs to be celebrating the wonderfully loving mother she is to his children, as well as his own mother.

As Jena said, the moment she gives you kids she gets this Holiday to. It celebrates all mother’s in your life, not just yours.

Mind you, it’s all just merchandized nonsense but shrug what can you do.

I’m a mother and I have never expected my husband to give me a Mother’s Day gift. That’s just weird.

Mostly they’re supposed to say it’s from the kids, and help out financially or with the logistics depending on the childrens age.

And of course make sure dinner is taken care of as the mother shouldn’t be cooking on Mother’s day.

Call the local photographer and make an appointment for a family photo done this afternoon/early evening. Then take her to a nice lunch/dinner. Moms love family photos along the years of the kids growing up… well, usually.

Why do I need a gift from my child that costs money? Her saying “happy Mother’s Day!” or drawing me a picture or picking some flowers would be perfect. My daughter picked me some amazing wild flowers for today and I love them.

You guys need to stop listening to 1-800-Flowers and/or Kay’s Jewelers for gift ideas.

I’m a mother too and my ex-husband sends me a mother’s day gift each year.

To each his own.

Does anybody else smell a spam/troll thread?

Oh, and Happy Mother’s Day to all!

An all expenses paid trip to Broken Shore. She can vent her bipolar swing frustrations on the Burning Legion demons there.

I love that he appreciates the work and love you put into helping to raise his children. It’s awesome that you both appreciate each other enough to say Thank You for loving our kids!

My own mom got me a mother’s day gift this year, and my hubby is taking me out to a movie today. I don’t see why you can’t celebrate all the mothers in your life on mother’s day.

And yes, I did get something for my mom too, so did the kids for their grandma.

OP, what does your wife like? Get that.

My daughter’s school helped the kids grow seeds for their moms, so I have a Zinnia growing in a small cup. I love it more than anything that could have been bought for me.

Did you miss the part of my first reply where it’s all merchandized nonsense?

You’re the mother, if you don’t want them doing anything it’s within your rights to insist. But if you don’t, and they leave you hanging, you’re also within your rights to be upset when every other mother gets nice things today.

I let my daughter do what she wants but I don’t expect anything.

This kind of attitude is why Mother’s Day is ruined.

Give me as much snark as you want, i’m just recognizing society for what it is.

I didn’t create this world, i just live in it.
