Does anyone know any games similar to WOW? And please do not say FFXIV I’ve played it before and wasn’t too impressed. I’m just looking for something that’ll tie me over till November or whenever DF comes out.

I really don’t but I’m picky, WoW is one of the only games I play now but Animal Crossing is super fun also if you haven’t tried it. I feel it’s worth the mention.
PSO2 NGS (tbh, PSO2 is better, NGS sucks), Genshin Impact (not an mmo, kek), Destiny 2, Elder Scrolls Online
that’s about it, everything else is garbo

If you need a break from wow, do something totally different. A wow substitute is not a break.

No Mans Sky has turned out to be pretty decent for a nice lazy build/explore.
Conan Exiles will scratch the building and killin’ itch.
Generation Zero if you like some sneaky run and gun against giant ronots.
All solo or multiplayer with a few friends.
For some reason when I played FFXIV i just felt alone, yes I had a friend playing but I still felt empty instead while playing it. Just something wasn’t complete.

PSO2 is pretty good. Story is crap but it’s fun to kill time on. I played it a bit last year and racked up about 1000 hours played in 3 months. There’s ‘NGS’ and the Classic gamemode, you can alternate between.
Dofus is a decent MMORPG if you’re tactically minded, but it’s not really that similar to WoW. It’s a lot more community driven and some of the dungeons can take a few hours to clear.
Is the game still alive and active? if not then i dont fare for it.
Hello, I see you posted a thread about other MMOs. I personally recommend the greatest, best, largest, #1 MMO on the planet, Final Fantasy 14! FF14 has jahiggle physics, thus making it better than WoW automatically! (The weird forum won’t let me spell it correctly!)

PSO2 is active on ship 1 & 2. You can play it on xbox or PC.
Dofus is active on Echo, the seasonal servers and the hardcore PvP server (don’t recommend this mode for noobs). Dofus peaked a few years ago though, at one point Blizzard tried to buy their MMORPG for $300m.

Guild Wars 2 isnt bad
Dofus is a lot more active than PSO2, however at low levels most of the players are alts so they’ll be decked out and faceroll content in the first 15 or so dungeons. Once you hit around 100 (a week or so of gameplay) you’ll get pulled into the more challenging content. Last I checked the English server had about 50K active players. It can lag a bit during guild battles but you get 30 minutes warning to leave the area unless you want to get ganked.
PSO2 (NGS) has about 5K active players, content is open world and Ships 1 & 2 probably have the bulk of the playerbase on them. You’ll see a lot of people but they’re mostly in the cities forming groups for end-game dungeons/raids or using the transmog & AH places. 99% of your questing will be solo play.
