Does this event carry over for the mount? Or will I have to wait for the next one and do all the weeks over from the beginning?
For instance, if I miss one week but do the rest, next time the event is around can I just do the Cata week for credit?

No one knows since this is the first time this achievement existed
You need to do 5 of the 6 weeks right now to get the achievement.
There’s a mount for the current multiple TW weeks?
You might be able to have it tick off by doing the same week on another alt?
I thought the event was 6 weeks, but it counted out to be 5 weeks on the calendar.
Yes, they added a mount and achievement if you get the buff (4 dungeons in a row) for 5 of the weeks.
It should work like all achievements. You don’t lose progress on them.
Wrong.
The achievement requires you to obtain the buff “Mastery of Timeways” for 5 weeks in the same character. To obtain the achievement, you have to get 4 stacks of the buff “knowledge of Timeways” by completing timewalk dungeons.
The buff timer is renewed once you complete a dungeon.
This buff is only available during the Turbulent Timeways event which lasts for 5 weeks at the end of a season.
This buff is not available during regular timewalking weeks.
Pretty much what I said, but grats on your gotcha moment.
Yes, a fishy pancake boy.
All good OP, I didn’t even see anything about this event so I skipped a few weeks of it already and now I am ineligible. At least the mount is incredibly ugly and not worth the time/effort, so not really anything lost.
I do not like promo events that you don’t even realize are going on unless you read outside media or websites. I don’t think this time way event was really advertised at all in game.
It’s a typical FOMO-tactic. Be there or regret it.
Oh thank goodness, it’s horrible. I was worried about missing out for a second.
How was it wrong? It was just a shortened version of what you said.
The event will be back again, so how is it a psychological phenomenon?
