Of all the s*** that needed to be changed, why this??

Who the hell complained about trade chat in the cov sanctums?? I never saw one single post even approaching it.

actually people complained some had it and some didnt, so instead of adding it to all of them they just removed it.

I was wondering why I wasn’t reading people screaming about politics and stocks today. I didn’t even realize I lacked trade chat in the covenant.

I was a kyrian who didnt have trade chat, and I just wanted it, not have the others removed.

My guess is blizzard wants everyone to sit in the new city and not sit in there own cov…because you know…FUN DETECTED!

Not everyone had it though, so rather than give trade to the other covs they just removed it.

It requires someone else to have the addon and be in trade chat to broadcast the messages to you.
I got around that by having a bank alt so I had trade chat wherever I went in the world.
This was in MoP though so carry spam wasn’t what it is today, you’d also want to get an addon like badboy to filter out the gunk

edit: You couldn’t respond to any of the messages. Besides whispering the person who said something.

To me, it didn’t make much sense to be in Covenants. And now, less people idling there, I guess? :woman_shrugging:t4:

Lots of people were happy they didn’t have it in their Covenants.

Meh, I can live without it but I get the annoyance for some. I’m just getting a weird vibe with this team, they are really doing some off the cuff stuff.

They always change the oddest things, that didn’t really need to be changed, while leaving multiple actual issues untouched. :upside_down_face:

The biggest one they never should of done was the water strider, there was no reason to make it so it couldnt walk on water anymore
