People don’t really understand statistics very well.
With less gear drops, no titan forging, fewer sources of gear, and no bonus rolls RNG in gearing is SUBSTANTIALLY larger. The difference between getting your one drop or not is now absolute - its all or nothing, with no bad luck protection or second best to narrow the gap between the lucky and the unlucky.

I miss it too. It was the reason to do some content. If it was only dropping xxilvl equipment, which you were higher than, you did it anyways, just in case it titanforged. Now, why do the WQ when they are dropping stuff lower than what you got? Right now I am doing it for the rep and anima, but once that is capped, I won’t do it.

I was 100% casual in Legion/BFA and I hated how meaningless it made gear that didn’t Titanforge.

I was 100% casual in Legion/BfA. I liked titanforging. The chance that something would warforge was good, even if titanforging was rare. That good chance of a +5 upgrade gave me a reason to repeat something that I already had the reward for.

No, it could only titan forge +15. The hardcore elitists cried a river of tears because casuals were getting decent gear by playing hours and hours for a very rare drop. So, blizzard, in their life rafts with the raging river of tears flowing past them, ended the titanforging.

Nope. The idea that a world quest reward with a good chance of a small upgrade can just be substituted by pushing keys makes it clear you are anything but the “casual” you claim to be.
People like you who hide behind anonymous toons while claiming to speak for “casuals” but pushing elitist dreck are the problem.

Wow that’s so much more reasonable 
Like I said I was super casual during Legion/BFA and I hate the gearing structure because it made me hate getting loot that didn’t forge.
The game showered you in loot, but it was all meaningless unless it Titanforged.
Now you get less gear sure, but it’s way more meaningful to get the upgrade you wanted and know the only thing make it weaker than it can be is not luck but because you didn’t run it on the highest key or difficulty setting or because you lack rating to upgrade it.
That your character power is not related to the dice on dice gearing system on Legion/BFA, but your own ability.

My Shaman was like 330 all this year during BFA. Why? Because she didn’t need to be anything else. I did my emissary’s just fine.
During Legion all my characters were decked in Argus Vendor Gear. I still did my Mage Towers and other content just fine. There was no reason why I should’ve gotten better gear because I put zero effort into gearing my characters.
If you want better gear, do harder content.

idk why you guys think less loots a good thing. Ever had endless shrimp? theres no way thats bad. Getting loots like shrimp. Dieting is no fun. up the drop tables
No? Titanforging started at 15 and is only capped by the hard ilvl cap of the tier. People have gotten mythic raid ilvl gear from lfr.
