I enjoyed Shadowlands M+ a lot as a tank because of the kiting meta. It turned the dungeon from the typical “grab a few packs and wait for dps to kill them” to “keep moving” and made it a lot more fun.
It’s one of the reasons that Necrotic was actually a good affix. It made me think as a tank and do more things than just be a damage sponge.
Hoping one day we get a set of dungeons in Warthin that encourages kiting again.

No idea if you are joking or not, but in higher keys the tanks kite a lot more and take ZERO damage. As a healer I can just spray out DPS and only have to heal unavoidable things.

Sure are a lot of threads popping up reminding us that Shadowlands was a better game than what has come since. You didn’t have to love or even like Shadowlands to see that the game was in a better spot than DF and TWW.
The covenant restriction was the worst part.
I hardly remember it being a problem at all.
And it was the first time I was really pushing keys past 17.
I guess I was too busy enjoying the game and pushing virtually every day to care about some insignificant ‘thing’ that was out of my control.
I didn’t even use the meta Cov for my spec, I just liked what I used, for flavour (turns out it was massively buffed S3 and S4 because it was so underused.)
Having 3/4 of the game locked off was indeed a problem.

I had 3 alts for the other 3 covs.
In hindsight I wish I did that off the bat too >:(
to be honest, I feel like swapping covs got handled after what, 1 season? Out of 4 that ain’t bad! Unless it was 2 or 3 seasons… it honestl wasn’t on my mind.
I think it was 9.1.5? Buttttttt it took a solid 9-ish months for 9.1 itself to come out. There were too many flubs all around.
Don’t forget about the big ol missing portal missing from one of the gates on the second floor of Oribos. Clearly there was supposed to be another zone or something that got cut.
