We had Orcs, Ogres, Goblins, and Amani Forest Trolls as the main four races.
We had Dragons on the Horde, even Deathwing himself. And Death Knights were our thing first. And we had Giant Sea Turtles to use as submarines. Eitrigg and Varok were veterans of that Horde.
The good old days…

I’ve got some good news and some bad news…
The Good news is, you can still play like you’re in that Horde!
The Bad news is that you can still play like you’re in that Horde.

I disagree. Arthas is the most famous death knight so having humans not be death knights would frankly be bizarre.

And technically the Warcraft 2 Death Knights were Living Corpses of Former Human Knights that got possesed by the spirits of Orc Warlocks…

There are no Gnome Paladins?
I think you mean High/Blood Elf Paladins?
which is why they could have been forsaken only maybe
That actually makes me wonder how people would feel if the Horde got Warcraft 2 styled Death Knights and the Alliance got Warcraft 3 styled death knights.
Just getting this out of the way, I am Gorgrok. He’s my Horde Main that represents my Horde views and opinions. Argronak is my Alliance main.
So when you see Gorgrok, its me.
But anyway.
I think Forsaken can only be Unholy DK’s.
Humans can only be Frost DKs.
And Blood Elves ironically, or Elves in general, as Blood DKs. Because of that Race of Vampire Elves we fight in Northrend.

I disagree. Orgrim Doomhammer is the epitome of failure IMO. Truth be told, your second war horde is as much a laughing stock as the troll tribes of today.
Didn’t they lose every single engagement they faced off against Lordaeron even when they outnumbered the hastily assembled Alliance forces like 10 to 1?
Hmm then I guess Warcraft 2 lied to me because I won every mission…
I mean I saw my armies breach through the Capital of Lordaeron and murdered Terenas.

Its a bit weird because the Warcraft 2 missions are intended to be mirrors of each other. Though, I think the Alliance campaign is truer to the canon, since we know the Alliance won the War in the end. However, that also implies that the Horde had conquered nearly everything all the way up to Quel’Thalas. My interpretation of this is the Horde basically conducted a Lightning War, and won many victories before the Alliance had a chance to consolidate power. However, Gul’dan’s betrayal bought the Alliance the time they needed to regroup, and which point it was a slaughter.

No…
They pushed their way right up to the gates of Capital City and would have won had Gul’dan not suddenly gone rogue and caused them to split their army.

Death Knight Arthas ISN’T a human though. He’s Undead.
I thought the first Death Knights were humans? Or at least orc souls shoved into human corpses.
Which turned out to be a completely pointless exercise since the Tomb and Aegwynn made sure to deal with intruders like Guldan.
The first death knights were shadow council orcs whose souls were shoved into human corpses. But in all honesty when people think back on the death knights most of them think of the modern death knights born from Warcraft 3, of which Arthas being the most famous among them, and not the old school ones from Warcraft 2.
I’d point out they only got to Capital City because Alterac betrayed the Alliance! So both sides got betrayed, the Alliance still managed to one up the Horde. And even if Capital City was sacked, the rest of the other Alliance cities were intact and the Alliance could regroup at any one of them!
The “canon” version of events is an amalgamation of the two campaigns.
