I miss the emerald nightmare

Would have been so cool if we got a whole patch, 2 parts of it

The looks and the lore were amazing

The only problem is that it wasn’t as fearsome in the game than it was in the book. Prolly because we only got a small part of.

Would have been nice if blizzard expanded on it

Could’ve and should’ve been an entire expansion imo

The raid? I freaking hated that tier

Nah, EN while cool, there isn’t much you can do for it to expand it for what it already is to make a expac of it

fine with that, as long as i dont have to hear malfurion shouting for tyrande in that awful voice as though he was acting in a medieval play

It was Xavius imitating Malfurion’s voice, to make him sound pathetic.

yeah, it worked.

I absolutely loathed the colour scheme. I know they wanted to give us something that wasn’t ‘more green’ but fluro-red and black was not the way.

The Emerald Dream could easily be an Argus-like Continent…

The Emerald Nightmare has shown 4 variants of corruption already: Sickly Greenish Black Rot in Stormrage, Red Black And Evil All Over in Legion, Soul-consumed Forest in BfA and finally the Void Tendril terrorized Emerald Dream in 8.2.

We really need 4 Zones for the Emerald Dream Continent:

  1. Traditional Emerald Dream aside from the Void Patches everywhere

  2. Rotting Greenish-Black Forest

  3. Red-Black and Evil All Over Forest

  4. Thros the Blighted Lands in it’s Full Glory

Considering Kathrine Proudmoore mentioned that we must return for the victims inside Thros the Blighted Lands it’s likely we will get the Emerald Nightmare Continent in the Final Patch where we fight N’Zoth(who 8.2 PTR says gets out of his Cell).

I thought it was beautiful.

We get some more Emerald Dream stuff in 8.2 at least.

Lots of Dragon stuff coming in 8.2. They seem to be core and vital to our new heart of azeroth.

I agree. The emerald dream is one of the coolest raids I’ve done in the past. I love it so much.

Emerald Nightmare was a Raid because realistically and by lore, it wouldn’t have worked as an expansion or world content. The Dream is supposed to be an ever changing place that’s never the same way twice. There’s no technology that could accurately portray that. Lore wise, being in the dream ran the risk of unmaking Azeroth. We only went into the Nightmare as a last resort and even then we were told to get in and out quickly.

While the Dream is described as ever changing, this point is inaccurate. We can’t permanently change the Dream. Users couldn’t either. Only a Titan can. Any small changes we could make are temporary. There’s no risk of unmaking our world.

All who enter the Dream can affect it to a minor extent, but only temporarily: the underlying structure of the Dream inevitably reasserts itself.

But the shifting nature of the Dream and the different layers, it would be quite difficult to put it in game, I agree.

Ursoc just dropped my LFR boots this week. Took almost 3 years for them to drop. I never want to see that place again.

The rift is deep we might not have seen the end of the ED.

There’s one flower left. Until all of the Old Gods are dead and their power gone, there’s always a risk of the Nightmare overtaking again.
