I miss the Alliance War

Well you can always goto BGs

Horde vs Alliance never gets old to me. The political intrigue in BFA actually had me hooked and reading every piece if written dialogue.

Oh well, hand this man the crown!

Because the writers are terrible at their job.

If this were still RTS game and not MMO then there could be a winning side and even a deleted faction, but this is an MMO so things kinda have to be a tie as much as possible.

I’d like it if we went back towards the sort of cold war we had going on in vanilla. There was still conflict and rivalry without it being a massive war. The armies of the Horde and Alliance never marched on Teldrassil or UC but there was a proxy war in Ashenvale between the Warsong and Sentinals.

In my opinion, that’d be both achievable (the main story isn’t about the war so it doesn’t matter that neither side can win overall) and more desirable than the whole “hold hands and make friendship bracelets” thing we have going on in DF.

My Only disappointment was the lack of no other Warfronts like a Tauren vs Dwarves One, or just Trolls vs Dwarves in Hinterlands, Gnomes vs Goblins in Dun Morogh or Tanaris, Or Thousand Needles, or Azshara, Blood Elves vs Draenei in Quel’thalas, and etc. I would have loved to see HD Versions of those zones along with set HD Mounts, Buildings, and armor sets. Mostly Dwarves, Trolls, Tauren, Blood Elves, and Gnomes and Goblins. Also Worgen too because reasons.

its time for wow 2.

I don’t it always had a fake trying to over do it feel to me.

Garrosh did nothing wrong.

Of course he sucked at being Green Jesus. He was never Green Jesus. There never was a Green Jesus. There was a purple Jesus (M’uru) but not a green one. When did Thrall die and was later ‘reborn’?

Thrall is modeled after Moses, not Jesus. I mean hell, Thrall brought the Orcs to the “promised land” (aka Kalimdor) after being guided to it by a powerful figure (Medivh). He was also raised by humans, like how Moses was raised by the Egyptians.

Well that’s what we called him in Cata.

The faction war was always dumb, always done poorly and always set aside to work together against the big bad. It’s a story flop that should be forever abandoned. The war in Warcraft was never really about the factions, not since BC.

The Fourth War was so bad that it was mostly retconned out of existence.

Even when the two factions were at war the story was always focused on events beyond it. Outside of the first two Warcraft games the war was merely background noise.

With no proper Warchief, I’d like to see the Horde start to struggle with internal conflict and civil war. Multiple factions, each with a warlord, should vie for the title.

To a degree - yes. I still love the zones and a lot of the quests within the zones (Drustvar is still a go-to for Alliance tones). Does that count?

Too many extremists pour their political and moral values into EVERYTHING they do. This game is no different.

A big reason why SLs and this expansion is extremely boring IMO is no faction war in the background.

In-game racism is barbaric.

It’s a game, who cares?

That just tells me you don’t understand how good story should work.

Not all characters need to be heroes or acting rationally. Both Sylvanas and Genn were acting in self-interest above rational behavior. This made them more enjoyable as characters.

If someone invaded my house and killed my kid, and I had a chance to go after them at the expense of all rational thought, I guarantee you I would. That was some of the best writing of Greymane in the game.
