I kinda miss the old days of the internet where blog sites like Blogspot and Wordpress were common in search results and people had their own mini communities based on niche topic.
Nowadays Reddit and Quora took over the niche and it feels kinda hollow without Wordpress and Blogspot. In those blogging sites you could customize your website layout and it could look nice with natural scenery as your background. Sadly, while Reddit did had nice customization for subreddits, each year Reddit has dumbed down its customization systems and looks so… shallow. Quora used to be good for a number of years but now it’s Yahoo Answers 2.0. I would like to return to the days of Blogspot and Wordpress without the cesspool of Reddit and Quora polluting the internet.
