I miss Dragonflight professions

Ah, I misunderstood you then, sorry. Thought you were referencing refining a r1 to a r2.

well its the same with the small eggs
20g on Christmas time its for the lazy players lol

It exactly holds water. There is never a profitable reason to refine 5 r1 herbs into a single r2 herb instead of just selling the r1 herbs and buying r2 herbs when you need them.

… there doesn’t need to be. lol

So, you just came in to troll. Carry on.

It’s not trolling to point out your assertion doesn’t matter.

Wahhhh I can’t combine r1 into r2 and make money.

So what? And then I detailed WHY it doesn’t matter.

That’s not trolling. You just presented a bad argument.

I was clarifying to a person earlier why they shouldn’t bother refining lower mats into higher mats, since they mentioned they did that when they were crafting their own stuff.

So you are either a troll or just an unpleasant person with very poor reading comprehension. Take your pick.

Projection is obvious in this one…

dragonflight is when professions turned to garbage and it still is.

I think there’s some exceptions to this, like Bismuth and Arathor’s Spear, but that could vary by date and region.

It’s a problem that Blizzard created. In DF, the weeklies required R2 mats.

well maybe you should pivot into selling materials instead, i sure don’t miss having certain crafting tables being locked inside dungeons

I’d love to know when there was a 6x price gap like that. I’d make bank.

I feel like professions are more or less the same as they were in DF, except for Jewelcrafting. KP acquisition is different, but I honestly kind of prefer it this way over having to grind obscure mobs with a list from wowhead up.

I want whoever thought I needed to spend several hundred bismuth just to grind gems for dust to not ever touch JC again, though.

I did. Been double gathering since launch. Doesn’t mean I don’t miss just knocking out 200 bags and some feasts.

It wasn’t profitable in DF to refine herbs or ore either.

I never said it was.

That’s always been the case since Vanilla though. Which is why it’s almost always paired with an actual crafting profession.

That is one thing I like about the TWW - the people who are taking time to gather are getting rewarded for their efforts. No one should be able to just push a button and make so much more than the person taking the time to gather the mats.

Mats are expensive because the season is still fresh. Wait until shortly after mid season and material prices will be on the decline. Until then, gather your own mats.
