how can it be that i prefer a 2014/15 game than 2020? in draenor i could level alters, have decent gear, didnt have to worry about farming and lot of content was actually optional . in this version of the game that i returned for, i find myself useless, only have 1 hunter 201 ilvl and im really tired of all the obligations you must do if you want to raid , because yeah, raiding is the only thing that i want to do, i dont want to manage the followers table, i dont want to pvp, i dont want to farm gold,i dont want to be forced to do torghast/maw once a week, i dont want to do 17237 M+ because loot sucks,i mean, this version dont let me breath , it will take me 10-12 hours per day to do everything that i must and i dont know if i can handle that stress anymore…even raiding has turned out into a 2nd job demanding like 24 hs per week…i miss draenor, it was more funny and easier to be an heroic raider there, now to be 10/10 H you have to be a nerd with no real life stuff *no offense.
Nothing is stopping you from playing that again. Especially with Chromie Time you can level on alt Draenor exclusively.
it was the last expansion with decent class design.
legion just had loads of haste and a lack of the gcd BS they did in bfa, so it felt fast, but wod still crapped all over its class design.
I miss BFA more.

I prefer Super Mario 64, Starcraft 1 and 2, and Civilization 5 over literally every game of the year nominee this year.
Just because games are old, doesn’t mean they’re bad.
WoD however was bad because it was bad.
You most likely remember WoD as being “bad” because of the content draught at the end though, well that and people just shouting “It was bad!” repeatedly without explaining themselves…
WoD was well received for the content that it did release.
Raids had awesome transmog, multiple difficulties and interesting boss mechanics, PvP was relatively balanced with only a few rare cases of “broken” things, Ashran was a new and revised version of AV essentially and even though it was called “trashcan” it was fully packed almost 24 hours a day. I can go on but I think you get the point.
Of course content draughts will make a game “bad” though but people said the very same thing at the end of WotLK… which had a single patch last almost a year before Cata was released.
No, I disliked WoD because it was really bad.
There was less of a content drought and more of a content absence. So much got cut in that expansion to the point where we only really had two major patches.
People riff on BfA’s story but WoDs makes it look like a masterpiece in comparison. “Draenor is Freeeeeeee” was a meme for a reason.
I was already sick of Orcish architecture after a year of SoO and the patch before it, Warlords just intensified my hate of it.
Hellfire peninsula was just as uninteresting as the Maw is now, and the maw at least can still be expanded upon with future patches.
Almost every rep was absolutely awful to farm. I never want to enter that saberon area in HFP ever again.
It was the beginning of the “Do things to fill progress bar” style of questing which I hated from GW2 and still hate today.
Trashcan didn’t live up to the hype as the “New AV” at all. I don’t think it was the worst thing ever but it sure as heck wasn’t that great either. Also it spawned the current second worst Epic BG.
Every monk spec’s worst iteration was in WoD IMO. Guard spam on Brew was very dumb, Renewing mist/Uplift spam was awful, and wind walker… wasn’t that bad but I just have an irrational hatred for Tiger’s eye brew.
I don’t even Condemn WoD for the garrison, I didn’t mind the Garrison at all and honestly believed that if it appeared in a good expansion it would have been pretty cool. The issue is though that there was so little to do outside of your garrison, this wouldn’t have been a problem in Legion or BfA.
I’m glad you could enjoy something I didn’t, but I have reasons in spades for why I didn’t like WoD at all.
honestly the only thing i truely miss from wod is og ashran, the 40m bg is just such an abomination that does it no justice and really should go the way of strand

Welcome to the club. I haven’t raided since Wotlk, haven’t done a dungeon since early BFA. I only ever done M0 once. I refuse to do timed content. It stresses me out.
I loved doing normal and later heroics and the occasional raid with my guild.
I had left when MoP was announced but came back because I believed the Legion hype. Then I realised that they had completely trashed the classes.
Why am I here? I’m waiting for TB which will hopefully be launched this year. I did level a one toon to 60 and did Torghast and other content, also got 3 Lego’s, one for each spec on my Warlock.
Clearly the game is not an MMORPG anymore, especially with the micromanaging gone for the classes and zero focus on the world. What is it even? Four tiny islands 
I think flying will be a disappointment. How are you going to get from one island to the other?
I’m not to bothered anymore. I’m not expecting it to change. Soon it will be a full lobby game with a new player base that don’t care about what a beautiful game it once was.
Wod was super bad idk why you miss the game,anything WoD n up is not wow at all, It is all WoW like all fo the systems wer gutted by WoD time.
The game really fell off in WoD it was the first time i noticed the lack of “BLIZZ” in the game and i was going hard for 8yrs prior to WoD.
I hate all of the game WoD n up (couple of gems wer made) but not enough to ignore the game is lacking n getting worse (still is).
I like the WORLD of Draenor, but the actual gameplay at the time was severely lacking. We need another expansion on a bit actual continent instead of just a bunch of puny islands.
maybe, but it was simple and less stressing for PVE. i hate shadowland pve , is too damn hard, doing m+10 and above without getting loot is so annoying for normal people
Not understanding stressing over a part of the game that only drops 2 pieces of gear for 20 people a boss. Not worth the effort. Play for fun, not a 1 out of 1.6 billion chance lottery.
