On the other hand, when you dot he Maladraxxus story campaign in Bastion, when the giant Kyrian leader asks you to walk with them everyone just starts running in slow motion but at running speed and it’s pretty funny.

“Walk with me Ashbringer.”

IMMEDIATELY STARTS RUNNING

Should have had Sylvanas flying to keep up with Zoval, rather than walking.

I do wish they’d gone more for the ‘Dark/Fallen Hero’ route with the Jailer, that he was honestly on a noble path at one point but a timeless eternity in the Maw after being betrayed and all he’d built being utterly ruined has utterly corrupted him, the Covenants are fundamentally broken and hostile to mortal life and that maybe he actually has a point? That the Maw was once the fifth Covenant but was co-opted into Super Hell because the First Ones were maleficent knobblers of the highest order and were perfectly fine with creating a plane of existence solely dedicated to tormenting souls for all eternity, with no way out, just to spite a slave who dared to speak out against their machinations.

But we’re stopping him anyways because, y’know, we don’t want all of reality to implode and his ‘new’ plan for reality basically makes him God-Emperor of Everything. And Zoval’s a relentlessly edgy goober who has an entire army of entities like Sylvanas, and whom plans on populating the New Reality with individuals just like her, all innately loyal to him with no way to disobey and has become a monster almost on-par with the First Ones.

Our reality may be broken, unfair and wretched, but it is our reality, and with the Covenants unable to deviate from ‘The Path’, Zoval and his Mawsworn completely breaking the Machine of Death to suit their ends, we’ve got a way to possibly do a soft reset of our own and reprogram the new Arbiter to possibly be less of an absolute monster so the Shadowlands is maybe less of a dystopian meatgrinder for souls …

I genuinely liked Nathanos pre-BFA. I liked his snarky, berating, never-pleased-with-you 'tude. Golden did him so dirty.
