Battle for Azeroth? More like battle for Jaina. And the worst part is that her plot armor is unreal too. Not to mention that every character seems to drool over her. And now to make things worse she’s interacting with Azshara when it should be Shandris/Tyrande?

When they showcased her for Blizzcon as BfA’s mascot I did NOT think they would put her edgy self is literally everything. Hell Sylvanas was the mascot for Legion and she was barely in anything! I started this expansion hating Anduin and calling him a Mary Sue but at this point I see Anduin once every blue moon so now that honor is reserved for Jaina.

I am just pissed that she can just teleport out of any situation, making her literally invincible. Locked in a crumbling building filled with poison? Magic shield everyone and teleport away. Losing a battle you started? Say that you don’t want to die and just bloop out of there.

Literally my most hated trope is the 1hp villain stunning you and saying you suck whilst running away.

lol Ppl complained when she was missing in Legion, now they complain b/c she’s seemingly “everywhere” in BFA.

Pretty much. If someone gets too much focus, someone is going to hate on them, and then when they reappear, there’s a bunch of people who welcome them back.

Something something Thrall getting too much focus. Boo. Thrall disappears for a couple expansions and we get far worse characters, Thrall returns to fix things. Yay.

Jaina hasn’t been important to the plot until Mists - that’s Vanilla, Burning Crusade, even Wrath of the Lich King (where she appears as a supporting character), and of course Cataclysm.

“We wish Jaina would DO something.” She finally does, and people complain.

I like the Proudmoore questline. But I feel like that + SoB and the cinematic and such did enough. That was a good way to wrap up her “arc”, so to speak. I’ll be happy if she sticks around in Kul Tiras after we leave. Let this be her place and don’t try to drag it into the story or faction conflict like Dalaran. Let it sit. If Kul’Tirans are important in the story going forward, let it be individuals that joined the Alliance, not the entire nation.

Edit: I’m fine with her continuing to be relevant as long as we’re still in the area, just as an important military figure, not a personal arc. She got her personal arc already.

I love Jaina. I harbor no ill will against her, but yeah it absolutely should be Tyrande being involved with all the Azshara stuff in 8.2. I mean have Jaina tag along if you really can’t think of another way to get them out of a jam besides teleportation. But she should not be centre stage on this part of the story. Hell aside from the obvious, that it’s a continuation from her story of 10,000 years ago, it would also be more dramatic that Tyrande should find herself forced to cooperate with the horde again in any way so soon after teldrassil.

All thanks to us and our 12 hour questline to save her. Yet we still have to rep grind for weeks after to be exaulted. Same thing with order of the embers. We basically started the order of embers but we are just freindly with then

I know im only lvl 113 and the expansion is really hard to play through, but I am doing my best :disappointed_relieved:

Sylvanas and Jaina are my two favorite characters so they better not go anywhere.

Except that Tyrande is still in Darkshore doing the Night Warrior thing, and it’s Jaina’s fleet that we’re riding into the zone, so why wouldn’t she be there? And we have Shandris around, the night elf who’s actually been present with the 7th Legion and Kul Tirans throughout the expansion.

Frankly I’m glad Tyrande isn’t getting uprooted to, basically, joyride around with a human fleet in the middle of her campaign - especially after she explicitly said Darkshore was more important than what the Alliance was trying to accomplish on the seas.

Yeh. It’s called balance. No one wants to be deprived a character nor do they need to be inundated with them. If you don’t understand that then you are truelly a fool.
