I ❤ M+ timer

I love how it keeps the game progressively challenging and makes me want to go back to what otherwise I’d only play once or twice.
I love using my abilities in different and more creative ways than interrupt or isolate a mob.
I love the idea of high risk, high reward on how, which and how many enemies you engage at once.
Please Blizzard, keep the timer for years to come. I adore it.

The timer is a core part of M+. I don’t know why people chose to wait until an expansion and a half after it was added to start complaining about it, but whatever floats their boat…

I don’t understand why people complain about Mythic+ which is basically endless chances at gear even if you fail the key or win the key.

If you win the key, you get a chance at gear and the key upgrades giving you a chance at better gear.

If you fail the key, you get a chance at gear and the key downgrades giving you yet another chance to get back.

It’s a unlimited way of gearing if you are an enthusiast.

What’s there to complain when raids are locked to once per week?

Because hating on Blizz is trendy and edgy. Or they just need to #gitgud

The timer is integral and important in M+. I’m sure the devs won’t decide to remove it because casuals can’t time a +5.

Without the timer M+ is pointless lol.

Careful, we can’t agree on TOO many things now…

The most common complaint I hear that never fails to ruin the credibility of those who state it: “I hate the gogogo mindset the timer creates.”

ITS. A. RACE. WHAT DO YOU WANT?!

It’s even dumber than that, since you can still get rewards that are basically only topped by mythic raid gear for failing horribly.

Wouldn’t matter, I’ll never forgive you for your dino form hate. :triumph:

That…that right there is the problem. M+ broke the gearing process making it pretty much necessary. So if people don’t enjoy it then people are ruined in other areas of the game.

The Timer makes everyone try their hardest, and it reminds you that Ability cooldowns matter almost as much as the abilities themselves.

Mythic Plus wouldn’t be the same without the Timer. If other people don’t like it, then they can just Raid the entire expansion and do Mythic 0’s

This is fair, But it’s the Gearing that’s the Problem.

Mythic plus on it’s own is crazy fun. And I don’t want to see it go, it automatically made Legion my favorite expansion.

Pretty sure TF/RNG sockets and Corruption are a larger contribution to that.

That’s not even getting into how gutted professions have been.

I want it to not be a race. That’s what I want.

I don’t care what you want, it ain’t happening.

Gearing through dungeons in order to participate in raids has been part of the game since ever. The timer doesn’t change a thing about that, you still get loot.

What spawned this conversation anyway? Ion is obsessed with timed runs and has been since ZA. It’s not going anywhere. Unless there’s something I don’t know.

Yup, it wasn’t so bad in Legion when loot was more restricted, they need to find a good balance. M+ as it is is fine as a game mode.

I’m not talking about the timer at all. I repplied to the user wondering why people hate M+

M+ is also a different thing than just dungeons, is a completely different system and nowadays is not just for raid, but pvp as well.

Of course this is not an issue of M+ itself as a game mode but the way gear drop is distributed.

Don’t race it then, take your sweet time. Let us enjoy the thrill of the ride.

I don’t race it. It’s not a system I participate in. Instead I find ways to artificially inflate the difficulty of heroics.
