Not launching with the honor system was such a weird design choice, considering were playing with 1.12 talents because it’s “when the game was most finished”.

I’m not ready for phase 2. Let’s give it a couple months. Farm something or camp some escort quests.
LOL. Im sure he means the High War Lord (HWL) grind, coming in phase 2.
Battle grounds wont be in until p3 along side BWL, but the full honor/pvp ranking system will be in place p2.

I just have a feeling it’s going to have the opposite effect than intended. The power difference between fresh and geared 60s is honestly similar to that of 60s now compared to people in their late 40s early 50s. You’re just going to have a larger group of players who are “done” gearing-wise and able to dedicate almost all their free time to camping flightpoints/choke points where the majority of level 50+ players will be. There aren’t that many endgame zones.
As I said, I honestly think gearing makes a bigger difference than leveling. I missed a good chunk of the 1st week due to work, and was a little behind in hitting 60, but I was ganking 60s in my early 50s. Except for a few classes (warriors, rogues if they don’t know what they’re doing, paladins), there’s no ganking people in full t1/t2 pieces that have 2x as much health. As a mage I’ll probably be able to solo entire groups of fresh 60s just from novas>CoC>ae spam
This doesn’t even really negatively effect me, I’m going to be completely good to go by then, but I just foresee a rushing river of tears later on when a small percentage of players are near bis and the majority is still in sm gear @60
since we’re going off personal experiences in this thread:
I didn’t rush, still leveling at a pace that makes WoW feel like a journey and not a chore, done some dungeons. Not ready for phase 2 please postpone for now.
