I loved preserv evoker in DF

And with chronowarden, it’s just 10 times better now in TWW.
With living flame being a bronze spell, getting burst is so much easier. Always loved the bronze side more than green.

Now id like Energy Loop to transform disintegrate into a bronze spell

As a Devastation oriented player, I gotta say I’m really jealous you guys get Chronowarden! Flameshaper isn’t anywhere close gameplay wise or visually.

Warp is such a cool ability as well!

I love chrono warden so much, I only have one complaint with evoker rn. The way scalecommander works with its freepathing on breath should just be baseline for all evoker specs. It is just 100% better and has a much better QoL effect than anything else. Make that baseline and put something else as the capstone for scalecommander.

Scalecommander is like a 9/10 while chrono is a 10/10. I am actually glad you cant play them both as pres bc then you would have to choose.

I know! It should work like this (no reticle, free pathing) for Deep Breath and Dream Breath baseline. It makes for a really nice capstone for Scalecommander but it feels dreadful when you go back to the targeting reticle again.

I uh think that pres shouldn’t have deep breath or have deep breath upgrade into dream breath where it does damage and healing.

I’m confused. I was referring to the movement not the actual talent.

EDIT: Oh waittt you’re saying Deep Breath and Dream Breath should combine somehow for Pres. I was confused by the “uh” idk why lol. I wouldn’t mind that really. Emerald Dream magic harming enemies seems fine and makes sense to me. Like a Druid using Wrath which is nature magic and stuff like that.

The only thing that kind of sucks about that is you can’t use them back-to-back if you want to. Like a Dream Breath to heal and Deep Breath for a little damage on the side when you need it for the stun or whatever.

Im not a big fan of this as there are multiple fights, such as Tindral, where you could break the roots with both Deep Breath and Dream Breath. By the time you were rooted again, the other spell would be ready or at least close to it.

Doing that fight without Dream Breath was annoying, having to do those darn mechanics.

I do agree it can be useful. The only reason I would suggest this is just for consistency. All the other evoker specs have their 1 flight spell, I would just have it be an upgrade (tbh I’d actually just make it the default for pres similar to how it works for the Aug).

I also have think the dream breath should be similar bc all other evokers only have 1 empower lol.

But I doubt this would happen, just a consistency thing. I do agree that there is some use cases for it being separate though.

Yea, I do agree with that. Its similar to how Aug has Breath of Eons, instead of Deep Breath.

TBH I think that would probably make more sense in the long run.
