I love new titles, of the "of Lordaeron" title really NEEDS to be Undead-exclusive

Wild seeing this thread again. Glad we haven’t had another one of these, and Forsaken are finally getting their heritage armor! It wasn’t right that such a big moment for them gave cosmetics to other races and a title that wasn’t unique.

Either is fine in my books. Not like I’d use it on any of my characters. My only human is from Stormwind, not Lordaeron.

My only Forsaken uses the title. I think my human uses “Sword of Varian” or whatever that title is called.

and… ?

Personally, I’d still advocate that restriction makes a lot more sense. Saying your character is “of Lordaeron” kind of undermines the entire plight of the Undead, as that is literally their kingdom. It’s cool seeing their architecture and culture evolve and all, but it’s still their kingdom, and it’s bizarre that other races are able to lay claim to that title.

I think little changes like that are what would help players feel more “special”. You shouldn’t be a Draenei or Goblin claiming you’re “of Lordaeron”, because there’s no connection.

Comparing Teldrassil to Lordaeron in this way is a false equivalence.

There are surviving humans from Lordaeron. There are not surviving Orcs from Teldrassil. There could just barely be adult Night Elves natively from Teldrassil assuming they age as humans do, and not either slower or faster.

Canonically, our human characters trained at Northshire Abbey, that doesn’t mean they were born there. It doesn’t mean they were born in Elwynn forest.
