I can say for certain I completed the Vials of Eternity quest prior to WoTLK pre-patch. When I did a server xfer from Grobb to Eranikus the title stayed on my Shaman but not my Hunter. When I issued a ticket I was told that the following.
I looked into your account and Glarius’s activity, and confirmed that they never earned this tittle, as it is only granted upon completing the achievement of the same name (Hand of A’dal: https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=431/hand-of-adal) which they have not unlocked.

I went to Tanaris to check if maybe I deleted the quest by mistake, but neither Soridormi or Arazmodu have the quest for me to accept. So I can only assume that I did in fact complete the quest. I was also told that support doesnt grant the title or the achievement.

Currently, this achievement and title are no longer obtainable. The team at Blizzard Customer Support doesn’t assist with granting either the achievement or the title.

I don’t want the title “granted” to me. I want the title restored to me.

What steps can I take besides escalating this ticket to someone higher up?

Is the BT attunement done on your Hunter as well? That one can be done after pre-patch, only the Vials quest needs to be done before (supposedly). But both must be completed for the title.

Is this accurate? I confirmed I completed the old TBC-era Quest ID for the “Vials of Eternity” but have not completed the Black Temple attunement yet. I did not receive the title despite completing the old version of the “Vials of Eternity” quest.

To confirm you had the Title on your character before the transfer and after transferring you no longer have the title?

As for having the quests, not sure what that is about, if you did not complete the quests before a certain time you cannot get the title on that character regardless of holding the quest.

Not a bug if they didn’t do the other attunement

Correct, but the OP said he had the title and is now without it after the transfer of the characters.

This I am assuming is what the OP meant,m that he had the title, now its missing.

But I could be wrong on that assumption
