GMs probably can’t just give you the title, so developers would need to make a fix.
I’m not a dev, but an issue affecting titles is probably fairly low on the list of priorities.

That seems rather silly given how difficult collecting some of these titles is. I do not feel my time is respected by spending days working on achievements for a title to just lose it to a random bug and the multi-billion dollar corpo just says : “Sowwy. Heres an AI response. Good luck!”

This doesnt make me feel like doing anything else will be rewarded if it can just fade away with a glitch and not be taken seriously by a company that has far more than enough money to handle this nonsense.

Also, they CAN re-add titles to characters and I have the screenshot showing them being deleted in my chat log.

Well, I’m assuming that the answers were to create a bug report, so do that, because they probably can’t just give you the title.

As for your “time not being respected”, where were you during the great guild bank wipe of 2024?

I created many bug reports. I wouldn’t be on the forum if I hadn’t. It LITERALLY told me to go make a forum post instead of actually helping me. I never use this forum as its usually filled with unhelpful responses from other players or sarcasm.

As for your whatabout question: I was offline due to retiring from active duty military. So I was a bit busy.

It isn’t expecting a grand thing to have such a wealthy corporation to have staff on hand to resolve things like this. They used to have way better customer service before they were this loaded. There is no excuse.

Define “help” in this context where granting you the title is not an option.

I would define “help” as something you aren’t providing or capable of providing if you aren’t an employee at Blizzard.

As for help, I have seen them restore titles and items before. I don’t know why you’re white knighting Blizzard customer support so much but they aren’t going to give you a free title for it.

They won’t even give you the ones you earn.

That’s my secret, Cap, I don’t care about titles. If I were to lose them, I’d make a bug report, since obviously it’s not supposed to happen and then I would just continue to enjoy the other 99.999999999% of content available.

You get it now! Thanks Blizzard forums rando that was of no help and managed to only poorly defend a corporation that is quite capable of handling this issue as they do it often!

Well, you’re expecting “help” from a Blizzard employee on a player to player forum, so good luck with that.

The actual ticket I opened with a GM L I T E R A L L Y told me to make a forum post to get human assistance. They responded to my GM support request with AI auto responding to do this.

This was not my first ticket on this issue. It just keeps sending me random “do this” things until it spit out “Make a forum post because we will never see this ticket if you don’t” basically.

I ALSO don’t think this is a good way to go about fixing things. This is not effective or intelligent design in any way. You being upset at my need to a bug fix makes no sense to me. 20 years I have played this game. You used to be able to open a ticket and you’d get a GM whisper within MINUTES. I don’t expect that anymore but SOME SORT OF ACTUAL BLIZZARD SUPPORT is not too much to expect from, again, a multi-BILLION corpo.

Hence my original point.
