wah wah wah…thats all I hear.
I’ve accepted that anytime he talks he’s lying. He does not care.
I honestly wouldn’t care about the timegating much if they wouldn’t stop claiming they timegated too much but not only keep the timegating in place, but timegate future patches just as much.
I was SO HAPPY with season 1 of War Within. Nothing was really timegated. I was able to do everything I needed in like 2 months and then got 4 months to do other things than WoW. I would log in once a week for weeklies and that’s it.
I was able to work on my Switch backlog, play some FF14, etc.
But this timegating is making me get to the point I’m about to abandon wow after 20 years cause it’s becoming something I have to do every single week multiple days a week if I don’t want to fall behind.
i actually tried watching the event earlier i lasted 4mins the guy talking was annoying and talking about useless stuff Not to mention was kind of boring
I also dont think the MAIN streamers for liquid where part of it if they where i didnt notice them streaming at the time.
This mode has actual potential, but it came out a quarter finished. It’s so clear that the items that end up in your bag should be dynamic buttons on your screen or pickup activation style powerups, for instance. Many classes have no way of making the mobs move at all. There is very little direction at all as far as whether the NPC party is nerfing you or the intended mode if you play solo or what. Why can’t Blizzard allow their devs to FINISH SOMETHING NEW and actually release it in a FINISHED STATE that players will enjoy and want to play? Forget timegating, this is not even close to being done. Also, this feels VERY OFF without addons. This feels like a great premonition of what the game is going to be like when Blizzard removes all combat addons for Ion’s Next Great Idea (you did so well with Covenants <3).
Comparing this to the rerelease of visions, which is 98 percent the same exact thing from BFA, Visions are A COMPLETE THING. They have seriously clever level design compared to most of wow’s “side content”. There are great ideas at play. It’s infinitely better than any of the side content since BFA even in this easier state. But the fact remains that it’s VERY OLD. How have the devs not surpassed Visions in terms of quality now? All we get are unfinished junk pieces of side content or extremely limited in scope/quality things like Scheduled Events that consist of sub-early iphone game level gameplay.
On the other hand, I lost all excitement the first couple of times I did it.
Actually, I don’t think I had that much ‘excitement’ to begin with seeing it was just going in somewhere, fighting something, leaving. I think I had more fun levelling up a new Goblin alt in the original starting questline.
I think the question is: what’s more important to players - getting gear or having original, fun and interesting gameplay to get it? For me, the ‘endgame’ isn’t gear, its enjoying the playtime I spend in the game that I pay a sub for.
Truer words have never been spoken by every addict since the dawn of time. You got this!
“How much time gating do you want?” Blizzard: “Make Elisande look like a novice Chronomage.”
yeah, between doing 14 chett’s a week for rep, finishing some bfa reps i never exalted, doing some legion emesarries for mount chance from paragon bags, and my irl work stuff, i have almost no other time left in a week for this new stuff. Which is why i hate that it’s limited-time. And even if I have more time one week, the stuff is timegated so I can’t get much done, then fall behind the next week when irl stuff is busier. I still haven’t even finished the slands main story chain, let alone extra side stuff in it. Maybe I’ll have time next year, I guess, after I finish all the other stuff.
Ironically the side stuff in SL is worse, I played through it 100% of the way through (without subbing) and still haven’t completed Bastion just cause… gestures to all of Bastion
It’s a high score counter you do once a week for like five weeks and you’re done. That they put actual development time into this instead of a new Brawler’s Guild is both hilarious and depressing.
If you think it takes the dedication of an addict to do something like exhaust Horrific Visions or Dastardly Duos in a week or less, that says more about your own competence than it does about anyone else’s behavioral habits.
Sounds like something an addict would say. Exactly what is it about addiction that you find takes a certain dedication?
EDIT: You may want to slow down and re read what I posted. I don’t think you’ll get it, but you might. Best of luck.
Given the context of the conversation you responded to, that would be the dedication to satisfy the addiction for content by exhausting it as quickly as possible. Just as any addict has a certain level of dedication to obtaining the object of their addiction.
No, I get that you were making a cute comment generalizing the behavior and rationalizations of addicts outside the context of this thread, and at my expense. I just responded by reframing it back to an on-topic discussion because I’m not interested in having a cute, off-topic exchange with you at my own expense. If it eluded you that that’s what was going on or you thought your generally patronizing tone wouldn’t be responded to in kind, then you’re once again revealing more about your own competence than about anyone else.
If they are not happy with the way i apologise, then they can go elsewhere.(also ESL moment, forgot to mention it) ![]()
I ain’t a perfect human, nor a robot who know 100% correct behaviour. (but that doesn’t mean i’m an obscene person)
Now about the clown side, i can be a clown too(well depending of my mood) and speaking of that, i would love a Clown mog in WoW.
