I lost 25 bg blitz in a row today, am i on some kind of list?

yeah its all luck

my priest lost 25 games in a row.

my evoker has now won like 5 in a row and im in 2600 lobbies on my evoker

i know im not like a super duper cdeww level healer… but it hink if im capable of healing 300+ mil heals per game and keeping our FC alive to 20 stacks… id say im at least not totally useless as a healer

Idk, once you meet eyes with a warlock, you have to. You just can’t stop.

Ive always thought playing during the day got the most brain dead people. Especially on the weekends.

oh definitely. 100% without a doubt.

the stuff u see in low mmr morning lobbies is insane

had a shaman literally sit at an inactive base in EOTS the entire game… and the geek had the nerve to flame our team telling us we suck cuz we were losing

might be related, but on reddit someone posted a screenshot of them reaching like 1900 playing “pacifist mode” where they join up for blitz and do nothing.

otherwise, putting you on a punishment list because you “afked” a match is exactly the kind of thing blizz would do per that SBMM report activision released recently. keep in mind they don’t care if you DC’d, they automatically assume malicious intent to all actions.

The other team would be full of them too though.

How would this work though? That makes no sense.

They would have to have a list of players that they know will likely lose and then put someone on the naughty list with that group of players?

That seems very far fetched.

its actually quite fascinating tho

im not exaggerating when i say not a single person on my team does objectives. i wish i had video proof because people dont believe me

i open the map and literally… LITERALLLLYYYYYYY not a SINGLE PERSON on my team goes for EFC!!!

i guess next time i should go try to return flag by myself as a disc priest. BRB IM WADDLING ON OVER!!!

yeah pretty much, i think it has more to do with an anti-afk system being unfairly applied to DCs.

You get punished with 200 rating loss. That is brutal enough.

I think the MMR system is wonky when applied to blitz, but I don’t think they are targeting players to give them bad teammates. None of us are that important that blizzard is out to get us.

Looks like skill issue. Maybe if you spend more time in game than here, you can turn the odds around?

god damn 25 losses in a row is insane, only rng could make something like that possible, all blitz seems to be is grinding and hope you get lucky, i remember thinking i would never hit 1800 on demo in blitz and then i went on a 11 win streak somehow, just seems to be a game mode that requires hella grinding for some

I’ve experienced the same situation. Last night I played 11 matches and lost 10 in a row. My paladin feels like it’s cursed. I’m a 2100+ solo player, but now I can’t break past 1600 MMR. This patch has been a terrible experience for both PvP and PvE.

100% on god no cap fam!!!

It’s easier to win blitz on specific classes. As in case for my druid; stun, they trinket I do a root beam, or get precog and cyclone

i certainly think its possible. blizz is known for using psychological tricks and the latest trend in game design to modify player behavior is to do stuff to greatly increase the grind time of bad behavior while reducing the grind time of good behavior. setting up players who keep rage quitting to be stuck in a punishment league is exactly what has been proposed by players in the past. its generally been countered with the point of such a system would unfairly punish players with less than stable ISPs.

now of course blizz hasn’t come out and said they were implementing such a system, but it certainly does look like they have based on complaints. i would say a similar thing is happening in pvp overall where they have turned on bfa magic scaling, we have been getting lag like no other in teamfights and we haven’t seen this since the days of magic scaling, and magic scaling was turned off because of this lag.

so is blizz playing around in the background and not saying what they are doing? well yes actually, a while back they made a post saying they would be experimenting with various things to see how it would affect the game and player behavior, they were going to do this during the last patch of DF but we didn’t see much, i would assume they are still trying things and we are see the results of that in game.

yeah i find on my dps toons i can return flags and such. on my healer i cant rly do much but heal. if the dps stinks its gg

i rly dont know how people cant kill an EFC with 15 stacks. its mind boggling

Just started doing Blitz on my monk I climbed to 1560 with 11/13 wins.

As soon as I started queueing today I won the first match with every player being about 1500 and solid close game. +5 CR (LOL)

My last two… I’m the top rated player in BG and my team is about 1000 - 1200 CR and the enemy team is all about 1300 par one who was 1500. Lost the last two (one EOTS a druid literally went to go for our Fel Reaver and turned around and went mid FR was left uncapped while I went to DR to try to get it / disrupt them)

-minus 34 CR in total for two losses so now im at 1526 for bad matchmaking… thanks Blizz.
