I might do that too but that basically still makes them largely useless… T_T
Which is why I’ve been trying to throw posts around to encourage Blizzard to lift the pet specialization. At least somewhat, allow more choices but where it makes sense. Stupid that I can’t play with my Sabertron because its Cunning and not Ferocity but it should work just fine because its basically like any other feline. Can’t see why they decided to limit the choices, and it wouldn’t kill them to let us freely pick the specs again for our pets.

this right here makes me so sad; as a hunter main for over a decade one of my absolute favorite things when a new expac launches is looking at and taming all the new creature models added in… and then I see majority recently have been in cunning pet families… and they sit in my stables, largely unused. Even as a secondary pet for bm, I prefer to have my pets match (at least the same model, but often different colors).
I have an entirely separate toon for pvp (where cunning matters) but I only run a mortal wounds raptor. Hounds have no purpose and I wish blizzard would let us swap pet specs again if theyre gonna add in so many cosmetic options…

I hear you there. I’ll tame one and it will sit in my stable with all the other cool looking Hounds I’ve tamed.
There is one pet thing I’m excited about though. My Troll hunter main uses a Thunder Lizard (Scalehide) as a primary pet and they are adding a metric crap tonne of new Thunder Lizard models.
You took my face give it back!

These dogs look like they’d use gnomes as chew toys.
Love it!

I just want a bunch of normal dog breeds like there’s a bunch of normal cat breeds. Gimme labradors and chihuahuas
Would be nice to see variated appearances.
