As it says I like leech. On my arcane mage my only heal (ice block) takes me out of the action. Leach gives me a small heal all the time, it is also good for all other of my chars.
Why when people talk stats they never mention it?

Because it’s a random tertiary that you don’t always get. They also nerfed it significantly. But I still love when I get it.

Mages are more so built to prevent and avoid damage. Not necessarily heal it.
Its why you have so much mobility, shields and ccs.
Im still mad they majorly nerfed bms self heal through mend pet leech.

as a pet class, the majority of my damage is delivered through my pets… so what is this “leech” you speak of?
I like it when healing. Less direct healing I need to cast on myself.
Leech is good, but in any content with a healer the 20% health and basically second exhilaration is considered better for self heals when the Healer can’t heal enough or is just too busy to heal the DPS.
Personally, I prefer leech though. while it’s less healing, it is more consistent versus waiting on a CD.
I like them best sauteed with butter and a little minced garlic. Oh, wait, that’s not what you meant…

You can’t really gear for leech outside of a few limited enchants or getting lucky with some tertiary stats. It’s a nice bonus but not something you can really rely on to get.
