As I said before, Elves got human-sized after Tolkien. Before that, they were tiny people that caused diseases by shooting people with arrows.
I’m not saying Tinkerbell was an Elf, I’m just using her for scale of the size I think appropriate.
If they were that small they would have a really hard time making all those toys for Santa never mind making enough cookies in the summer to last through the Christmas season.

It’s precisely because they are that small that they can put those electronics together with precision.
When they need something bigger, a group of Elves can join together and form an Elf Voltron.

Blizz just needs to add a pointed-ear to the gnome customization - ta-da, Tinkerelf race introduced.
Gnomes are too big and have too much torso.
Elves should be tiny and at least 55% of their height should be legs.
Not in Norse mythology.
There was a considerable amount of time between Norse mythology and Tolkien.
During most of that time, Elves were tiny.
