People that can’t do the content waste peoples time. I know a 1359 Fire Mage that is absolute garbage and he ruins tons of keys. He gets into enough groups that eventually one carries him. If he got into my run, I’d leave too.
I’ve not bailed on a single m+ key In bfa (unless someone left first). And there is no way I’d stay past wipe 5 or 6 on that boss.
I mean if you wanted to torture yourself like that, why not just stab yourself in the tongue with a rusty screwdriver, just as painful, and way less time consuming☻
This was a PUG and I never saw those players before or since.
But regardless, you don’t leave groups. Period.
It is shameful, wrong and disgraceful to bail on a group.
In this particular situation, the group leader asked if people wanted every few pulls.
Finally, a couple players said yes.
The group then disbanded by mutual consent.
No One Bailed.
edit: I will clarify to say this. If people in the group are mean, name calling or abusive, of course you should leave at once. But wiping is not a reason to bail.
This entire thread shows me that my decision to never, ever, bother with these timed AOE runs was the correct one. Congrats to Acti-Blizz though for coming up with gameplay that leads to more toxicity than PVP, which had been for years the undisputed champion of generating toxic jerks. If you like M+ and can tolerate these over-grown spoiled children, you’re a better person than I am. I’d be preparing to get medieval on them, ala Michael Douglas in “Falling Down”.
Thanks for saying this, I think I’ve been in denial myself thinking I could pug mythic+'s forever. Yeah, if I really want to push keys, I’ll need to make a group of friends I can rely on. Now, I gotta be social… that’s the true endgame .
And here is another person chiming in on a topic they know nothing about. Anyone on here that has timed a 13 or higher that disagrees with op on leaving a key that clearly won’t be timed?
I try to run in mostly guild groups but occasionally we have a pug or two, and if we are struggling I have no issue with him/her if they leave. I understand that at a certain point you are just wasting time and repair money.
