People could choose to not contribute at all and just fly passed you.

I really don’t get these. Contributing anything is contributing. I thought stomping weevils and pulling weeds only gives you dewdrops, not the seed. Or am I wrong here?

This makes me ask, does pulling weeds etc add to the existing plant or just give the runner around dewdrops?
If the former, then i can see folks reaping the rewards of other people’s work can be irritating.

FYI, if you’re in a middle of a seed and get sucked into LFR or some other queue, when you get back, the treasure will still be there on the ground waiting. At least if it contains anything special. Mine contained a cosmetic, but that’s all. It was nice Blizzard let those linger until you got back.

When i have been doing my five, i crank the plant to medium and run around. Guess that refills my pools.

From my perspective I see this about 50% of the time. I’ll fly up to a seed and there will be someone with an orange nameplate just sitting at the seed… not doing anything. Doesn’t matter what faction i’m on.

I’ll do the seed thing however I see fit for ME, not you. It’s a WEEK long quest, get over it.
I save up my dewdrops for purple seeds, unless I’ve got over a 1000+ or it appears people are actively feeding it. My primary goal is just to complete the weekly, although the extra rep is nice. I make a token contribution to any seeds in progress I run into as a courtesy, even if I lack a seed of the appropriate colour to add.
I don’t ignore the weavels, they ignore me (my client and the server seem to never agree on the hit box of little things zig-zagging around on the ground)
I’m still trying to figure out if there is some secret to the rare bee pollination event or if it’s just a very efficient way to gather dewdrops. Any news on that?
