I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right

Yes, they also breaking a lot of laws as well, but we don’t talk about that on videogame forum.

it was changed because of BOTS. those 40 box moonkins you see stealing all the nodes are BOTS not multiboxers. they even said it was changed cuz of bots in the announcement thing.

They said it was changed because It’s almost impossible to tell a software boxer who’s ten tapping nodes (damage to player experience) and a botter doing the same with a script (damage to gold economy).
It’s still illegal now.

*according to Blizzard’s ToS.

Many other games deem it as botting. Is botting or fly hacking and exploiting not cheating if Blizzard says so in their ToS. Sure, we play by their rules or we don’t play, doesn’t mean it’s not cheating, just means we accept it.

“They are bots, you hear me?! THEY ARE BOTS, NOT MULTIBOXERS! I’M NOT CRAZY, YOU CRAZY!!1!”

i don’t have WM on and i make my gold with my professions. which regardless of how little i spend on an herb i can make an obsecene mark up on tomes etc. i also am not a pearl clutcher trying to tell other people how to play the game. how many boxers do you see every day? i’ve seen a handful in my entire time playing, since vanilla, on high pop servers. a multiboxer is not why i’m not better at the game. or why you’re not. do you know that people who sell carries have like 15 million gold or something from doing that? they brag about it in threads sometimes while also trolling about multiboxers ruining the game. hm.

You must not farm mats very often

i spend most of my time out in the world doing WQ on my 9459865485 alts. i am out in the world literally all the time whenever i play. i see BOTS all the time. 40 moonkin spamming AoE is a bot, not a multiboxer.

x to doubt.

did you seriously just ignore a video of someone 40boxing to level shammies?

you do realize not all problematic multiboxers are 40boxers right? 10boxers make it difficult enough for me to gather MOP ores simply because they can deplete an entire node with one action, and I’ve been mining in pandaria for 7 years.

This outrage/celebration was last week the forums have moved on…did you not get the memo?

Dok is right. Hardware switching is allowed (currently) software cloning is not. Now I’m not defending it I’m simply stating what’s allowed.

look at my character. i have like 20 just like him. i don’t do harder content. or pvp much. i do professions and WQ. imagine thinking i’m lying about doing tons of WQ when my ilevel is literally at the max you can get from WQ. lol

also i’m not reading any post from that guy who thinks rich people are all cheating and doing illegal things. he’s obviously… not well.

I never said hardware wasn’t allowed.
Hardware hasn’t been a primary way to multibox… in like ten years I want to say.

all the change did to “harm” boxing is make it so you cant as easily run a 5 man team to putz around the world with. the crazy mega boxers can all afford to switch to hardware and still do all the things they do now.

I was being General about doks statements. Not targeting anyone. I apologize if i came off that way.

“I’d like a free sample please”

(Comes back with a fake mustache)

“I’d like a free sample please”

A few certainly are cheating, some are taking more advantages of ‘grey’ areas because they can and some aren’t and others are just normal folks. Just like pretty much every other demographic group.

Careful, he’s going to take it as an insult against “rich people”

i have to defend ALL legal boxing because people want to make even having more than one instance of wow open at all bannable when people like you do nothing but use it to help baby alts do quests and stuff.

To be clear, I don’t have a problem with dualboxers, or those who do three different things in three different windows as long as they aren’t botting. My problem gets to be 7 or more, where it’s clearly becoming pay to win, or outright griefing (from instantly tapping out nodes in 10boxing for example)
