I know we've meme'd about it before but warlock is genuinely unkillable

I fail to see how this class dies at all. Short port, % based healing/defensives with increased hp pools and an overall damp-y meta all 3 specs just do not die man.

Demo in particular is nasty and does insane single target dam with it’s tier and some build that it runs

I remember being flawless victoried last season by aff when my dfensive was down in Blitz

So I came back with a healer and the warlock clocked 3-4m healing before he went down. I stared before and after his scoreboard healing in disbelief

I dislike it when people say go lock in shuffles. I get the whole stop lock from casting thing, but there are other ways to slow down a lock while going on easier kill target.

I think this strategy varies wildly from shuffle to shuffle, thats kind of the issue with it. If im getting precog fed to me and healer is pressing some of their buttons ill kill 2 melee dps and my health wont dip. Certain healers also just dont seem to have the throughput we need. Disc for example feels terrible.

If my healer is eating cc constantly or greeding buttons, im dead the entire game and its miserable.

Definitely not a terrible idea to go lock, but you cant sit there and smack into dark pact or wall and expect to kill them. Both of those cds should insta trigger you to hit something else and cc the lock if you can.

It definitely depends on the situation, but more often than not, lock makes a horrible kill target.

warlocks r like always gods in season 4 for some reason.

i used to just run away from destro locks in season 4 of bfa. total waste of time to even engage.

Because no one ever heeds my warnings early in an expansion.

It is imperative we remember at all times that the myth of c%ster weakness in pvp that the morally reprehensible agents of the Big W%rlock propaganda machine so readily perpetuates is nothing more than a carefully designed and orchestrated psyop by Big W%rlock to shoehorn c%sters into a position of extreme relative strength in the first season of an expansion (which hasn’t happened at the beginning of an expansion since Wrath) thereby making the power gap between C%sters and Melee even more staggering in C%ster favor at the end of the expansion, which we are currently experiencing.

Demo feels real good with another wizard. Demo feels awesome in most lobbies, demo absolutely gets farmed, and shut down in an arms, ww, DH lobby at 2400+. It’s almost like the whole spec is a giant meme and everything has a simple counter because the pet AI is from Legion.

Forgot to mention everything is a hard cast and people start waiting until 90% done casting to kick. Good thing Demo is so OP in wizard lobbies or I would never play this crap

yea there’s no shot they let warlock stay unkillable when they do changes after awc

This doesn’t mean what you think it means :speak_no_evil:

Everything is unkillable pre 7 minutes

I don’t mind them as SV. Would take them over arms, dh, assassin, etc.

s1 - yea there’s no shot they let ret stay like this
s2 - yea there’s no shot they let aug stay like this
s3 - yea there’s no shot they let DH stay like this

ok then…

It depends on players’ specs and skill levels, but it feels bad when the warlock is allowed to freecast damage and then they start fearing people.

It seems like a lose-lose situation in shuffles (at least in the lower brackets). Attack a tanky warlock and try to reduce their damage/CCs. Or attack someone else and see the warlock take control of the game with their damage and CCs. That fear pathing can sometimes be round-ending.

I was able to get into 3 ss rounds yesterday after work. All three rounds I was the only caster. First round was dh/war/ww/me Guess what I died they trained me to the ground the entire match every single match it was a 3v1 because they 100% ignored everyone else but me.

Second round was me a survey hunter an outlaw rogue and an assa rogue. Guess what they trained me every single round and I died, only winning two rounds.

Third round was another survey hunter a ret and an enhancement, Same outcome every single round they trained me non stop and I died. I won once out of the 6 games and lost 59 points.

Don’t sit here and say locks are unkillable you’re just not drooling enough if you cant kill one.

The actual CRAZIER part is that this is the weakest moonkin has been all expansion. It’s just that everything else has gotten nerfed more and the game has slowed down so much that druids arent punishable like they were in previous seasons.

I agree nerf war, dh, and rogue

Early s1 was turrible.
