I know of the best mmo

And yet you’ve never heard of it.

This game has a population 1/1000th that of WoW and yet if feels more ALIVE. The community feels active. They are helpful, they are kind (for the most part). Constant community activities. The population is small on paper but the experience it makes it feel more like an MMO then wow has in a decade.

A real indie dev made initially by just 2 people. A game I have ~2k hours on and only scratched the surface of the content available to me. With absolutely no pay to win mechanics. Buy to play and go.

It even gives the famed FFXIV community a run for it’s money.

I don’t even wish to speak it’s name of these forums for doing such a thing would risk the toxicity and doomerish that plagues wow from spreading to that paradise.

It might not be the prettiest game but it’s the most fun mmo I’ve had in a long time. I still enjoy WoW. (Mostly raiding with my guild) but it doesn’t feel like an mmo anymore. Few mmos do.

When wow classic, hardcore, and SoD launched it had that feeling of community back… for a few months or so until it too died. This game community has been strong for years now and is growing slowly but surely.

You’ve never heard of it. Perhaps you never will.

But for those of us who know it and enjoy it. There is nothing else like it.

If you’re interested I am sure you can find it.

Not one of those fomo cash grabby “indie” pvp mmos. It’s PVE. No cash shop. Just an optional sub that gives a handful of small hardly needed benefits. Otherwise buy to play for a free time unlimited demo.

I wouldn’t say it’s perfect but I can’t think of another MMO that comes close. Some MMOs do some things better. WoW better endgame, FFXIV better story. GW2 has it’s horizontal gameplay. Wildstar (had) housing.

This game has community and 1000s of hours of content. New updates are slow but few of the longest players have experienced EVERYTHING this game has to offer.

It’s biggest flaw? It’ll steal you’ll soul. You’ll never want to play another game. Other games begin to feel like a chore rather than a recreational activity.

idk but i sure do miss tera. tanking (and the entire combat) in that game was the best in any mmo i’ve ever played and healing was super fun.

Here’s hoping Ashes of Creation is good when it comes out in 2038.

It won’t be, do yourself a favour and abandon all hope for that game to be a success.

PvP-centric mmos tend to do really badly anyway, specifically the ones that try to force PvP into endgame PvE.

All of this is already foreshadowed by history and precedence.

Dang, I make a joke and I already got WoW brained clowns trying to convince me a game with no discernable release is going to be bad lol.

Already preordered, fingers crossed! :crossed_fingers:

If you are not going to name it, why mention it at all?

Rather a lengthy post to laud the unnameable unless you are running with the theme of April 1.

By you not naming the game you are just straight up trolling.

The point is that it’s probably going to be a joke even if it does release.

Wonder who’s the one who can’t get a joke now?

Still you since it still went way over your head lol.

Matrix Online.

Is trolling anyway with or without the game named

Hmm April Fool’s Day… :white_check_mark: Low level poster :white_check_mark: Classic poster :white_check_mark:

People don’t want a new mmo they want they one they spent 10 years in collecting 30k achievement points in doing 20,000 dailies and 50,000 world quests while farming every mount in the game and paying for every raid achieve known to man.

What they want is unrealistic and will never happen because they just want WoW 2 where it all carries over but then stack on 30k more achieves and mounts and everything else to do all again.

I’m completely convinced that game is a scam. It’s bait.

My best MMO lives in Canada. It goes to a different school.

You wouldn’t know it.

It’s gotta be GW2. I tried it. It looks like you’re staring at your screen cross-eyed. Dropped it after about 10min of nauseating gameplay.
