I know #NoChanges, but

…splitting HK honor across the entire team regardless of location or participation would help in mitigating some toxicity in AV.

Everyone has seen it, anyone not rushing lieutenants & commanders / ‘vann or ban’ is a catalyst for toxicity in AV. Its not hard to see why that is the case, those people are not contributing to the team effort (but are benefitting from it) and are obtaining honor at a much faster rate than the team by benefitting from honor kills in addition to the objective rewards that they are not contributing to.

I don’t blame them though. I do it all the time because its fun. Its a lot more fun than rushing the same objectives every 6 minutes over and over for hours on end. I see why people get upset though. Solo kills can net you upwards of 300+ honor. Not a stretch to say that you can net an additional 500-1500 honor each game by not doing objectives and ganking in mid.

The toxicity is out of hand though. Not sure if people are actually catching bans for pvping in mid, but I’ve been in many games where there is a coordinated effort by players to encourage others to report anyone in mid as afk to punish those people.

At least split honor achieved from HK’s across the entire team. Let everyone benefit from that effort equally and maybe everyone will chill out if even just a little bit.

The trick is to play D and ignore everything else.

If your team is a bunch of pve honor-maxing players from a pvp server the game will end in like 6 min and you get full honor + LK kills + whatever kills you got on D.

If your team is a bunch of players from a literal pve server, it is likely they will try to do all the LTs and move up in a slow, very obvious way. Again play D and enjoy killing the enemy faction for 35 min while they eek out a slow win.

Regardless you always win playing D because you are actually pvping.
