What is the gain of using razorice when artic assualt/avalanche is taken in the talent tree without taking shattered frost? Wouldn’t the 6% extra stats from gargoyle be more useful for dw?
There is no gain from taking RI without Shattering.
If you are playing Shattering you use RI/FC. If not, use FC/SSG.
Meta is Shattering build right now, but 99% of people can play whatever reasonable build they want. I play 2h riders and do fine. People are sheep. Do what you want.

Anyways, my 2nd quiestion is, does cold heart (chain of ice damage) work on enemies immune to snares?
Yes. You can go test this out, why do you need the forums to inform you? Just go into any raid and use Chains of Ice on a boss with the talent. Chains of Ice will be used its just the slow doesnt work.

If I recall correctly, it does work. Cold Heart used to be one of those abilities to use before Frostwyrm’s Fury after ramping up with old PoF.
I don’t think it works with Proliferating Chill.
