This is the body of a gnoll that chased me from the TOP of Brakenhide hollow (pug group for the ‘daily’ there, all of who ditched me, the healer when they hit their quotas by just party dropping and abandoning me in the middle of the north part) Looped around over the water (yay for Hover lol) down the coast, through the village on the coast with the goblin gizmo in the middle, and then down into Iskaara for soop.
Seriously, that’s WAY to far a chase range lol

Not even gonna lie the gnolls this expansion have been more dangerous than every other mob. the mob density in some of the gnoll camps is insane.

if you’re in some of the side quest camps you will literally pull 20-30 gnolls by accident. Make sure to have some AOE.

It’s lore accurate now as well. there is a sidequest in azure span where a mage keeps trying to assassinate gnoll leaders hoping they will fall apart and new leaders keep appearing until he just gives up on giving you quests.

Mobs are following A LOT farther than they used to before leashing back, and I don’t like it. Had an elephant chase me half way across the Plains the other day. I was running because it also wasn’t scaling to my level. At least I got away but, dang, this ain’t it, Blizz.

The worst part is, this was leashed in the ‘dock’ area at the north of Brakenhide, like where you enter the dungeon from, and I pulled them through the ocean, through a costal village and all the way to soup, heck, one of the hunter types and his hyena even died by SOUP cause it was mid way through being prepped
The OP told the Gnoll his mother was a hamster and his father smelt of elderberries, then proceeded to throw a cow at him.

That is ridiculous, I’ve had mobs chase me for what I consider way too far away, and this is happening too much. Also have you noticed, just like in Zereth Mortis they have the aggro birds again?
The devs have a seriously sick sense of humor sometimes. I would make these kinds of things happen to us, if I were a dev too lol.
Gone are the good ole days when devs would pop into the game and clobber everyone in the whole city, or show during a raid and kill everyone off with some obscure mobs they created.
I truly wish they would do that again.
The “whack a gnoll” questline is so broken because of phasing, they DEFINITELY meant for these gnoll areas to be a group effort, I can’t see any other reason they put 60 patrolling gnolls all in one square inch…
