As a mount collector I say it does not. Blizzard made them tamable so go get it. I’m more annoyed Blizzard made a rare spawn NPC with a low drop rate tamable but that’s on Blizzard’s end.

Same here, I don’t have the mount yet either. Certainly one that I farm too. But I occasionally see a Hunter on my realm here and there with double Soundless as his pets and I think it looks so cool though!

If you want to tame it then go ahead and tame it. Just don’t be a knob & be like that Oondasta raid group of hunters that were camping it, taming it then releasing it. I no longer even bother going for that mount because of this.

@Sernius Yikes, that sounds like a s#!tshow… Hopefully things have calmed down out there on the Isle by now, and maybe I can go tame Oondasta at some point. Thok was a nice addition too. Love them T-rexs!
So far no luck on Soundless though! But I did find Deepglider and it’s a nice red color and looks pretty ferocious

Trueee… I’m trying to find Soundless at non-peak hours. Being east coast I’m usually online way before any of the realm’s community is so I’m hoping I can stealth tame him and piss nobody off because what they don’t know won’t hurt them! 
I was thankfully able to pick up Loque a very long time ago, I think sometime in MoP
I camped Soundless to tame him and I did it. Tame finished and I was completely alone then I turned around and saw people running up to him…
I yeeted myself off the mushroom and ran lol.
Honestly, though, Soundless is LESS of a hassle now with flying. At least folks don’t need a jumping puzzle to reach the boss.

Lmao! Got him this morning about 45 minutes before the reset, and did the same exact thing! Flew up on Soundless and there was two other people there…
After standing there staring at it for about 30 seconds, the DH types “soundless at x, x” in General Chat. Thought to myself, do we kill the rare at a possible mount drop, or should I snag him while I can? So I quickly tamed him, followed with a “nvm” in GC from the DH (lol) and then I hearthed as quick as I could and did a little happy dance!

you can tame it but prepare to get the flaming by the mount collectors who are standing there trying to get the mount
