Blizzard just announced somewhat exciting news coming in 9.2.5, but there are still no news on the actual patch. I was expecting for the patch to be released Feb 8th or 15th, but now it’s looking like beginning/mid March.
I know you guys are still tweaking and nerfing some specs in PTR, but you guys have to be ready by now.
Please Blizzard just release a date so I can request a week off of work.
Why would you expect that date?
It’ll be ready when it’s ready. Best not to rush these things. Be patient.
There is so much more testing that needs to be done. Tier sets are still bugged , raid bosses haven’t all been tested, they haven’t put in how we get sockets or conduit upgrades.
PTR is pretty behind honestly.
Blizzard will only put out a date 30 days before the patch drop
Don’t take that week off of work. Take the next week off of work. Otherwise, you’ll be right back here, complaining the servers are down for extended maintenance and stuff is bugged and “I took a week off for this!”

Getting to market late can be just as damaging as getting to market flawed.
They need to get a quality product to market when the market needs it. In the case of 9.2, that was 3 or 4 months ago.
I CANNOT wait for you to come back here if they do announce and then delay. Taking weeks off for Blizzard is and has always been a terrible idea.
look at SL they delayed it and look at how it turned out even with the delay and constant feedback on things that pretty much people complained about that went live regardless.
also delaying a game is just as damaging. it’s no different then going to a restaurant and ordering food. we could take an hour to cook your meal but lets be realistic no way in hell your gonna wait an hour

They never give 30 days notice except for Pre-Patches and Expansion Launches. Normal for a patch like 9.2 is 1 to 2 weeks end of season announcement.
Not really – read those posts back when they delayed 9.0 launch, lol.
That would of made the tier too short. Tiers are usually 6 months in length, so while 9.2 is taking a while, we aren’t that behind. Under normal circumstances the current tier would of ended sometime in January, so a patch date in March would be late but it would be on par with 9.1 in length.
I imagine they got another 1 to 2 weeks left of tuning. The patch should be out on a Tuesday 3 to 4 weeks from now.
