I just saw most ninja tryhard loot

I just saw today a Shaman win [Crul’shorukh, Edge of Chaos] with 98 roll over 9 warriors! I just can’t get it the idea of why this tryhard guild would give an enhancement a 1H axe (They can’t dual wield). Maybe tryhard in defensive situation? I don’t know, but its probably the most wild things I have ever seen now in loot topic.

And most weird things is that no one complained about it. Can someone explain me why? Thanks.

They definitely complained just not publicly. The officer chat was going off I bet.

If they were allowed to roll on the item, they rolled the highest value, then how on earth is it a ninja? Also if nobody complained, why do you honestly care.

Enhance is the worse spec in classic… Why in the world would they get any loot until the top dps get their loot… The wars literally carry that enhance

Are all the warriors HWL? I don’t think that is BiS by the lists. Its good, and higher dps but lower top end. (mind you I don’t raid with a warrior, just googled quick for p4 orc bis)

The “ninja” here is that the Shaman was allowed to roll in the first place. They were though, and won the roll, so that isn’t a ninja in my book.

R14 MH Crul offhand is bis until Naxx, then you replace R14 with hatchet, or replace both with gressil+thc.

Normally (aka on a vanilla server where not everyone can easily be R14), the R14 warriors just skip crul until way later because it’s not a huge upgrade. Usually you leverage that you went R14 to get first gressil+thc.

he won the loot fair and square.

Not a ninja loot. They can use it, and they could roll.

If they weren’t intended to have a chance, then the raid leader failed.

Either way, they didn’t ninja.

It doesn’t matter how bad enhance is, all that matters is the loot rules. If the rules allow them to roll and they won the roll they should get the item. Thats how it works, for it to have been “ninja’d” the loot master would have had to say, no enhance sucks and even though we told you that you could roll on it, you can’t, and then they give it to one of the warriors.

Obviously in a progression guild with LC, you probably wouldn’t want to give an item that could help you progress to an enhance shaman over a warrior, but when your blowing up Naxx likely in under two hours, progression is a thing of the past, so there isn’t much justification for restricting loot.

Either way, if you don’t like the loot rules, challenge them before the raid, and depending on the result and your acceptance of that find a new raid.

Enhance can use 1h axes, and they can dual wield as well. I mean, I’m not 100% sure about Classic Anniversary, but I know in SoD and when TBC hits they can. I’ll have to hop on my sham later and go to the trainer to see to confirm.

But I know they can use 1h axes though.

Those warriors should all be r14 so who cares.

Crul will be nice for the leveling in TBC.

They definitely cannot dual wield in classic era / anniversary

So wheres the niinja?

So is fair that I roll for example [Staff of the Shadow Flame] because I can use it for “leveling” and I can equipped? No sense at all.

what race was the shaman just for my own consideration? I’m not sure it should factor in but think it may provide some insight.

So a shaman rolling for cloth BiS for mage and warlokc is good because he can equip that and thats all? LOL I will start SR warrior BiS weapons cause I can equip them and then sell it for 20g in a random vendor.

Probably 38 other people thinking “It’s just a game, whatever”

1 Shaman thinking “Nice, I won the roll”

and 1 you thinking “OMG BLASPHEMY! IVE GOTTA MAKE A FORUM POST ABOUT THIS EVEN THOUGH IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ME!”

Between the three groups there, it’s the latter I’m most concerned about.

I strongly implied they shouldn’t have been allowed to roll. That’s on the people running the raid.

upgrade is upgrade.

I take gear that makes me stronger. if some butthurt gets butthurt about it I just laugh in his face.
