this is actually a good reply. You can get renown from doing dungeons/battlegrounds/raids and doing those will get you gear.

Go to covenant, pick up everything with an exclamation point. Do every WQ that offers anima. Visit the maw; say high to grandma for me.

Play the game to gear up, do content, gear more, do harder content.

Without any indication of what you like doing etc, there is various things you can do. Just saying.

I hear you shouldn’t turn in your weekly renown quests till the end of the week. Something about making sure you have lots of catch up opportunity for renown from other sources.

People have already answered, so I’ll just ask my question:

What made you want to come back? The expansion is still relatively new. We’re in like month 3 and you quit at the end of month 1. Nothing about the game will have really changed, unless you were just waiting out the timegating on the campaign quests.

This is accurate. Catchup gets you up to the previous week’s cap. If you spam whatever for catchup, you can technically get caught up on renown in a day if you really wanted to, then do the current week’s weeklies. If you do the current weeklies off the bat for the guaranteed renown, you no long have that +2 renown AFTER catching up, and you’ll need to “fix” it next reset by getting 2 catchup renown before doing the weeklies then.
