Its simply because of AB. Being able to go immune to damage for 12 secs is beyond OP in AB. At least in WSG if you have the flag you will drop it. But, damn, its so annoying to fight 5+ paladins and they have bubble off cd. lol
PS. Im grinding on a warrior right now. So, dont come in here and say “but they go less damage while in bubble”. All a warrior can do is bandage and exo/auto attack cancels that.

It’s not just that. Almost every paladin in AB has welfarebringer (like I said they would a month ago) and the damage they are doing through bubble is absurd.
The second the paladin takes a hint of damage they bubble, keep running at you, then proceed to annihilate you.
Ashbringer + bubble = complete crack
Crossfaction bgs is good and will make q pop faster or too pround to make peace for 20 minutes ?
now respawn, run back and go at them again with 5 min CD on Bubble. Or play warrior on alliance and die to Shaman every time

Ya, once your gy rez goes off and you find them again bubble is either back up or one of the other dozen pallies in the bg has theirs.
If you are still losing to shaman at this point I don’t know what to tell you. The only thing shaman have going for them is they can be tanky in the right gear and spec.

I want to see shamans and pallies on same team esp now and crossfaction will help pvp games to pop but ally and horde just too pround and try to nerf each others instead. They did in retail no ? i dont understand why you guys not supporting this idea ? We all played alliance and horde after 20 years. Color blue or red is not the most important in my opinion ofc. I would have supported too but there’s no players been in many games 15vs10 in both side this issue and later at night just no games at all. People are just scared from hunters that’s the reality lol
There are 3 abs up. I just dont think we will see more then 3 up from now on. I mean, alliance getting 5 capped can’t be fun so I dont blame them for stopping. We do need some same faction bgs. I would love to see paladins fighting paladins. lol
It will end balefire vs balefire but i have to admit it’s not easy to play and vs shaman you run chrono preservation molten since that armor can’t be dispel also stun rogues when they ambush you with impact proc lol. Ok for same faction just help sod pvp please.
If you just started you should go play cata and wait for mop, since its classic the current dev team cant screw up the pvp too much… hopefully.
They not only tanky but they also do as much damge as dps. I almost feel like you don’t really play the game if you think thats all they got going for them. Right now almost every class is op with the right gear. Ive even seen prot warriors doing insane damge. The new set bonus Turing pvp into a joke at the moment. I’m still working on my thorn build shaman and i was 1v2ing pallys in epl and also getting blow up by gear casters.
Edit: this is no longer phase 7. Tanks are literally doing 3k+ dps in raids and hiting players for 2k+ easy
No they aren’t. Tank shaman might be hard to kill and they might be annoying, but they aren’t doing “as much damage”. They can whittle you down, but they aren’t putting out numbers. If you are getting hit hard by a shaman they are either ele or enhance and those are both glass cannons.

It’s always been bubble. I finished ranking before the last pvp nerf, so take this with a grain of salt. In this game, where the burst is crazy and you are dying in the first 4 seconds, having that immunity is huge. My pally has no gear and I feel so much safer than my warrior who is bis. Not saying they can’t be beat, a shaman who knows how to kite and has some HP should be able to kite a pally into the ground (non ash)…
