As you said, you were only doing, what, 1500dmg with your big-boy hits? You run out of tricks well before your opponent runs out of health if you don’t have a teammate with exceptional peels, e.g., a skilled mage. My guess is when you did this on a lock it was Aff? Unless you’re talking ilvl178 at the beginning of the season…
no, not really. i don’t know how these other details like the comp we played or the fact that one person on the team had standard gear detracts from this. the fact it was early season actually helps his point because he wasn’t getting catchup conq gear as we played, and rating wasn’t inflated yet

The point I was making is that your gear was ~2200 and couldn’t yet improve. You essentially had the best gear you could possibly have outside of a weapon. Is that not accurate?
If you can’t get 1800 with the gear upgrades 1600 gives you you’re bad at the game and need to improve. You can make up weird excuses all you want but it gets you nowhere.

yes that’s what standard gear means. i had the same gear as everyone we faced (and less than people with the 2400 wep). and just because you said this so dramatically, i’ll nitpick - it’s not “the best gear i could have possibly had” because no pve ring

Idk what is so hard to understand. The guy is clearly very good, prob a glad or r1? He probably typically plays at 3k, ofcourse he can hit 1800 on an under geared alt.
I can’t hit 1800 on an under geared alt, nor can you b/c we’re not as experienced

My point is no amount of skill is going to overcome an enourmous gear deficit unless you’re playing with someone who makes up for that with their gear. It’s just mathematically impossible. Otherwise you’d be sharing videos of two 190 ilvl toons wrecking 2s together. Maybe I’m wrong? Your undergeared Lock was not Aff, and your healer had a similar ilvl to you and you guys murdered against people with 220 ilvl gear?

the gear gap ur currently at, is 13, if u were full challenger gear vs a full duelist player, ur -13
i’ve done it at -50, and -37
i’m at 4% vers in this gear, ur at 30%
i’m missing 26% increased damage, ur not.
a regular 1600 player is in a much better situation to get 1800 than me
a regular 1600 player + a regular 1600 player is in a much better situation to get 1800 than me and a 226 player.

my healer healed me for 0, he didn’t do a single point of dmg to me in a 13 minute long game
my healer could have been afk and this guy would have left the game

All accurate points. Again, you are OBVIOUSLY VERY SKILLED. Much more than I am. There is no question about that, nor have I ever suggested what you did was easy.
I can see how this is possible with the right circumstances. Soulshape, shields, coiling bolt, devouring freedom, THAT EFFING LEGGO, etc. Still, a hell of an outplay, and obviously played to perfection. Was your priest just a dispell bot?

so tru i wish i could overcome a 13 ilvl disadvantage but alas i can only manage 37 and 50.
i’m so stupid for not paying the booster 92mill to play mm hunter balance druid to 2.9k rating so i could rly prove a point about how good i am
