The reason consumes are so high is because they buy gold for boosts → don’t get banned → buy gold for consumes → dont get banned

what can’t be shown to others is not satisfying
-this is why people care about obtaining gear because everyone can see that gear.
-people care about their parsing just because it’s showing to everybody even though it’s just useless number.
-people care to do what will prove that they accomplished something
but people do not care about what’s not showing for others so obtaining gold with hard work means Nothing…gold itself is just for a use to do something else so buying the gold will be considered much better in accomplished other goals and ofc having so much gold can be a brag even if you buy it all.
meanwhile…playing the game is all about
1-play with friends and do what so ever if raid or dungeon or battleground or world pvp.
2-using consumes help a lot whenever you are with what ever you’re doing.
but just farming for that gold? by either running around mindlessly to loot things or killing mobs and waiting re-spawn is considered waste of time because you will use 10hours of ur time to farm some gold you can buy it with just half hour of work irl.

yeah but using your hard earned money to buy a video game item is kinda… well… dumb
if you don’t enjoy farming gold you are playing the wrong game. sometimes grinding mobs is just what you do.

you know? it is impossible for anyone to farm his/her own gold if they love to use heavy consumes to enjoy playing at the best level.
a side from raid that require arround 600g? per week…people who pvp does use ~500g a day, so how can someone farm +600g per day?

someone will say “they do not have to use” yes they do not have but they are using because they like it, and since the game is not banning bots that farm raw gold 24/7 which caused inflation people who want to play this game are forced to buy gold.
it’s all blizzard scheme so they add tokens later. because the way blizzard act is creating target audience for the future token and shop level boost.
I love playing WSG, especially with friends. But without Faps/Nades/Sappers etc. it is impossible to play at a premade level unless you are spending 5-10g per BG. Bad rng on rocket boots and you just lost 20g.
