It would just be really lame seeing streamlined easier content give similar rewards.
And a follow up to your questions are:
What proof do you have that people that are enjoying delves regularly raid, M+ or PVP when it is a completely different style of game?
And:
If the only people doing Raids, M+ and PVP are the ones that enjoy that content wouldnât that make a better pool of players for that content if those who donât enjoy it arenâtâ forced to do it?
As a raider, casual M+ and lover of delves, I see no issue with having end-game content being geared to the 4 different styles of play. I love having multiple options for gearing.
Almost certainly M+, given higher level delves are difficult in ways that arenât particularly engaging or memorable and prone to enormous amounts of cheese, because again itâs extremely difficult to design challenging solo content for a game whoâs difficulty primarily derives from players working together.
People would lose their minds lol.
Yeah, without going over it with a fine-tooth comb similar to the mage tower to make it more or less âthe sameâ for each solo spec.
But since delves allow for groups, that pretty much goes out the window since content canât really be designed for both at the same time without a lot of jankâŚwhich weâve already seen plenty of anyway lol
Even if you do that, youâre still not creating content thatâs particularly condusive of a progression path.
If all youâve got access to in your game design toolkit is interrupts designed for 1 person, sidestepping frontals / pools, and maybe a target swap, youâre going to really stuggle to make Myth track level content.
I doubt it. If people truly disliked group content and there was no solo content they would leave the game and go do something else.
Iâd love to get more Tiers with better rewards. At least to Hero track from the Chest and Mythic track from the Vault.
Plus more Crests per run for all Tiers.
Well Blizz âkilledâ Raiding with M+ so why not?
Maybe the answer should be not to kill more content because you like it easier.
But to make the content that was âkilledâ better, and not repeat the same mistakes.
By giving raiding a better acquisition rate for gear? Seems like they had a good idea with the bullion system and shouldnât have discarded it.
Did they, though? I cautiously attempted getting back into raiding with TWW, and it feels a lot more accessible than M+ does for the rewards you get. Thereâs still gatekeeping of course but without a âscoreâ like M+ has itâs not nearly as bad at least for normal and heroic.
If the discussion is solely about the top end though (I donât think it should be, personally), I guess mythic raiding probably is a higher bar to clear than +10s.
No. Itâs because they donât respect casuals and the choices they make. They think itâs a waste of money to spend on development for casuals/solo players if that content doesnât ultimately funnel them into competitive end content, ie esports. You canât change human nature, but theyâll never stop trying to change people who play the game as a pastime into people who play for the competitive aspect of end content.
Well, not so long as Ion runs the show.
Donât forget the stacking 3% buff starting in a few weeks. By mid patch the raid is going to flop.
Thatâs because Blizz adjusted the difficulty of M+ in TWW.
The difficulty/reward balance between M+ and Raiding is closer than itâs ever been currently.
It was very different in the past.
I didnât know it did that; I agree with you that they shouldnât do that.
Thatâs not how the vault works. It takes your 2nd highest, 4th highest, and 8th highest run that week to calculate each slot.
This is still open world content. They arenât going to make it on par with that.
Itâs an end game pillar for open world players. It is not a stepping stone only.
Delves NEED to drop the currency that lets us fully upgrade our hero pieces we get from the vault.
Can confirm. Same thing happened to me. I knocked out a few easy delves to complete the quest and it messed up my initial 616 vault slot. Maybe a bug? I didnât want to find out, so I just hammered out a few more 8s
