As it stands, I have 17 mogs left that I need to obtain from Obsidian. The way I play I obtain 1 mog every 2 weeks for 9750 with minor help from 3 alts getting some Resonance Crystals. By my math that’s 34 weeks. This number doesn’t include the 3 Renown Quarter Master with their own mogs, pets and toys. If I add those, I’m looking at probably 10 – 15 weeks for a total of say 47 weeks give or take a few weeks.
If you are to release “Midnight” in August on schedule as the plan calls for it, and the drop rate of Resonance Crystals remains unchanged, it will be very hard and nearly impossible to get all mogs pets and toys before the release of “Midnight”
I just hope that with patch 11.07 with the new zone, Resonance Crystals drop rate will increase.
Midnight’s release is not on the roadmap. The REVEAL is. ie we get to find out what’s actually in store. Right now we basically just know it’s elfy and it’s called Midnight.
Housing is marked Winter 2025 - Assuming the WoW icon under a House symbol is Housing (Winter starts in December), but Midnight’s Release is not.
So I’d expect probably Housing as part of the Midnight prepatch in December sometime, with Midnight itself being January 2026 at best.
Either that or that icon is not Housing and we have no idea when Midnight is coming.
Or they’ve decided that Housing won’t be tied to Midnight and it’s just going to be a thing that drops between patches during an end of xpack lull in TWW. But they did say it’d be Midnight.
Doing the sky races for the first time on any difficulty for any characters will give you a bunch. I think some weeklies also give a bunch with awakening the machine giving a bunch.
Yeah I was pretty amazed that I played 3 alts for 2+ months doing at a minimum of 4 delves and each weekly(machine, theatre, etc) on all of them to see that if I just buy 2 mounts and a couple of extra items I’d be out of crystals already.
This is all speculations on your part with no source of your dates. When I said “Midnight will drop in August” I based it on the fact that some higher ups game developer said that they wanna release expansions from now on once per year, that’s my source. We will both find out soon enough once they reveal the “road ahead map” in the coming weeks. Then we’ll know if there is a need to adjust Resonance Crystal drop rate or not.
It only says “Midnight Reveal,” not that the expansion is coming out. That means they are letting people know it is up for sale and we can all complain about them tying a few days of game time to purchasing the expansion again.
Game developers said they wanna release expansions annually. That is a pretty solid source. Do a google search and see what pops up. I can’t post a hyper link here otherwise I would’ve.
I saw the road map for 2025 and it says “Midnight reveal” in the summer. This is my opinion only now based on no facts, I think they will go ahead and release “midnight” in August since that is what the parent company Microsoft wants and it won’t be wise to reveal a release date this far out. It will be a surprise of the summer. This means we are gonna need an increase for the Resonance Crystal drop rate so we can get all mog, pets and toys.

Elemental Overflow was pretty scarce until the Forbidden Reach was released last expansion. Perhaps the Siren Isle will do the same with Resonant Crystals.
The road map shows we will be getting updates for the current expansion all the way to the winter of 2025. And i don’t think they mean winter in the southern hemisphere.
Doesn’t matter either way though. If you want to be a completionist instead of picking the rewards you want most, then maybe you keep coming back to TWW weeklies in later expansions. Your own fault for slacking off, just doing the easiest weeklies with no grinding I’m down to 8 outfits remaining. What is taking you so long if you want to pretend to be sweaty?
According to google AI search the “WOW Worldsoul Saga” which covers “TWW, Midnight and The Last Titan” are to be potentially released annually. That is a solid source to me. Either way RC drop rates needs to be adjusted. I do lots of things in the game other than just grinding 292,500 RC’s to get all mogs from Osidion. I didn’t include the incrusted gems we get from renown in that number.

There is no need or even point to grinding resonants. Do the weeklies once on any character. Or, don’t, I sure haven’t been keeping up diligently. I don’t even know what the big sources are besides the first Worldsoul completion of the week, and radiant satchels that I won’t even pursue when I’m already in that area.
If you do NOTHING then yeah you aren’t going to get the sets, but also why do you care at that point.
I wish we could sell resonance crystals, or do anything useful with them. I have 4 level 80s and have never spent a resonance crystal, to my knowledge.
