I hope the end of the Faction War doesn't mean the end of new Allied Races

Considering all the Allied Races were mostly invited into the Horde and Alliance as a way of bolstering each faction’s ranks for the war, I’ll be very disappointed if we stop getting new ones now that the war is over.

I was hoping we’d at least get one AR per core race.

Faction War isn’t finished.

There’s peace for now, but that doesn’t mean an end to hostilities. It’s a return to Cold War status between the two factions.

Reread the banner

It’s the end of the War Campaign, not the Faction War.

That’s a world of difference between the two.

Allied Races are hella popular so I doubt they’ll stop adding them. They just might not be as numerous as they were with BfA stuff.

Besides you still might get Vulpera and the snake dudes, but logically the Vulpera could do a Pandaren thing and go to both.

Yes please.

I dont know, have you played the Horde zone assault quests? The Alliance slaughter them for trading with the Horde.

If I might play devil’s advocate - the ending of the faction war opens the door for the long-dreaded Lightforged Undead to amicably come over to the Alliance, while the Forsaken who wish to remain on the Horde (if yesterday was an indication, they’re many in number) can do so without conflict with them.

No I have not… and if so that pretty much kiboshes that option.

The Horde are kind of due a race that’s cute looking and not loaded with a massive baggage of evil the way the Blood Elves are.

I mean do you remember what Garrosh did in Pandaland

No thanks, I am over it. It needs to be done.

I think an interesting turn would be if they eliminated the current factions all together… and then make the next expansion all about guild’s fighting for dominance… so that you can kill any one, regardless of race, so long as they aren’t in your guild.

Allied races could continue to join both factions regardless of whether the two are at war. It could be a great way to include some new lore and further expand on the factions that doesn’t revolve around conflict with each other.

What does that have to do with anything though? Are you trying to compare what Garrosh did in the Vale to what the Alliance did to the Vulpera?

The only way that would even remotely be an accurate analogy is if the Alliance denounced and exiled the 7th Legion like the Horde did Garrosh.

But I mean this is entirely different circumstances, Nisha literally says:

Look at this destruction! The only thing these caravans were guilty of was accepting a good-paying job to transport supplies. We Vulpera have been free merchants and traders for countless generations. What makes the Alliance think they can bully us into refusing work from people they don’t like? They’re no better than the sethrak… And you know how I deal with sethrak.” “They will die like the sethrak… And anybody else who tries to oppress the Vulpera!

Where as whatshisname panda told Garrosh the Horde was nothing like him.

Sounds like vulpera know nothing of war

NO. Just give them to the Alliance. I can’t deal with their cancer being on both factions.

Well Taran Ji clearly spoke too soon.

That works for me, too.

Right well anyway the Horde is in desperate need of leaders that actually care for their people, with Sylvanas having gone rogue we literally have none. Nisha would seemingly fit the bill nicely plus the Vulpera are pretty cool IMO.

As a fellow cursed individual I would welcome them with open arms.
