I hope Blizz reads this WOTLK classic post

Except it’s only one time per account and only to level 70, not 80.

yeah, everyone should be forced to stay on dead/imbalanced servers or forcefully restart from scratch

lmfao

That word doesn’t mean what you think it does. Additionally, the cascade of transfers is what ruined realm populations.

Blizzard has the ability and the technology exists to join/connect realms to assist with population issues. They seem to prefer to wait to milk as much cash from paid transfers as possible before swooping in to save the day.

Why not personal loot, theyre willing to change anything no matter what so just do it? And dont call me a retailer, I hate retail and havent played in years. I keep my account for classic only and was only playing classic si I could eventually play WOTLK again. Looks like that may not happen.

The only raiding format that personal loot is good for is LFR.

The problem is RMT, not GDKP. If you have a problem with the loot system itself, lets hear the negatives of it that doesnt involve RMT.

RMT is only a problem because of GDKP… I don’t understand why that’s hard to grasp. If gdkp didn’t exist then buying gold could get you consumables and mounts and Boe items that everyone can easily get anyway. Because of GDKP golds value increases massively and now people are able to buy bis bop items for real life dollars. They make the game pay to win.

Without GDKPs it would become much much harder to pay money for items… It’s not rocket science. There’s GDKPs advertised every second of the day, meaning you can buy items for real life money whenever you want. If you can’t run GDKPs you have to prog raids properly and do them with a guild and not be bad to get given loot, your RL wallet has nothing to do with the loot you receive without GDKPs.

Gold buyers will spend more money on consumes the duration of the expansion than they will spend on gear in raids, that is a fact, therefore making the AH more reason to buy gold than GDKPs.

RMT was a problem long before GDKPs were even a thing in WoW.

Again, argue about the loot system itself, not what is unfortunately associated with it.

This is the problem with you guys, you cannot argue anything but RMT. If the only problem you have with something is RMT then you should be looking to get rid of everything that has RMT associated with it. Auction house, tipping for opening lockboxes, etc. All transactional things would have to be gotten rid of if we’re getting rid of anything associated with RMT.

Also, you being annoyed at GDKP advertisements are not a reason to get rid of them. That’d be like asking for MS>OS to be gotten rid of back in the day cause thats all pugs were advertised to be.

You think people are dropping more than 15k each week on consumables? No, they’re buying the 15k gold to spend on an item they’ve done nothing to deserve in game. Gold buying is always around yes, but without GDKPs sellers can’t sell a tenth of the amount of gold they are able to while people are buying tens of thousands of gold regularly to get gear.

I don’t understand how you can’t see that GDKPs make the game pay to ein. Guy buys $100 with of gold, joins gdkp while wearing a bunch of green items. Auto attacks the whole raid and contributes nothing. Gets given bis item. Such a great loot system, wow, so good for the game.

On average people might drop 15k on one of the premier items (glaives) but hardly if any are spending 15k weekly on GDKPs. For one, the loot you want to buy has to drop. For two, after you bought that gear you’re not buying that slot for gear for the next 4-6 months. Consumes are every week, twice to three times a week for the entire expansion.

Again, argue about the loot system itself, not RMT. We can all agree that RMT is a problem. I want to hear what negatives you have about the loot system itself, so I can dismantle them.

Ignore the troll.

Disagreement isnt a troll.

I’ve already told you the negatives. It turns the game into a pay to win game. You don’t have to play well you just have to spend more money than other players. It also makes it harder for newer players to find raids that aren’t willing to spend real money on items because basically 95% of pugs are gdkps.

Noone is out in the world too because why go farm when you can get 5k in an hour by running old raid content. Means there’s less wpvp and the game becomes a raid log shatt sitting simulator.

The positives? Purely selfish, you get rewarded gold for carrying people so they can purchase the gear at the cost of the integrity of classic.

Presentation, readability and clarity are all very important if you want to be taken seriously.

Sorry if that offends you.

You’re right I should ignore him haha.
