Straight up who loves Classic?
Been playing a good 30hrs a week since launch. There’s simply no game like it out there and I can’t wait to experience the game in the levels to come.
I’ve got a few friends who’ve never played WoW in their lives as well, and love the gameplay style of Classic.

I’m having more fun than I expected. I even like the minigame of needing gold for a mount (almost there) and beating the bag boss.
Classic Everquest is also incredible (WoW classic has consumed me entirely but I still pop on Project 1999 every now and then)

Someone that loves Classic and is vocal about it on the forums? What a pleasant change of pace. Welcome to the World of Warcraft at its (imo) peak, friend!
Its strange how the rpg of the lvl grind makes it enjoyable. I dont mind “wasting” time traveling around doing quests. The ffxiv instant porting or retails quick travel definitely makes questing not as fun as actually traveling.
Yeah there’s something enjoyable about it. Makes me feel like I’m actually a part of the world .

I was level 45 by the time I got my mount. I think I like it that much more, too, as a result.

The game really opens up after level 30-40. Almost all the zones are traversable, you can quest and farm through most of it, you have most of your class abilities available, and wPVP is ever present.
Having a large amount of fun myself ^.^
The launch congestion wasn’t even able to dampen my joy. Enjoying questing again in WPL, EPL and Winterspring old zones.
Yay for classic, yay for back to interacting with other players and building a better community.
I’m having a lot of fun, got a Warrior as well at around level 24.
I really thought I would go back to the live game at some point, not logged in even once…and I have played this game non stop since just after the Wrathgate event when I first started playing.

It’s because, despite what retail players try to tell you, that everything not being handed to you because you pay $15 bucks a month too isn’t a bad thing.
I have irregularly gone back to p99 and it is a good thing to do just to clear your gameplay palette. The mechanics were so rock solid and beautifully tuned. EQ is still the best game I’ve ever played. Sony really really jumped the shark with EverQuest Next. They had an easy win on their hands and just completely screwed it up. It was an object lesson in how tone deaf design teams can be, and how arrogantly stupid producers who have no business making design decisions can be.
Classic has proved how wrong they were, and those responsible for that debacle - and everyone knows who they are - should be utterly ashamed.
