Good Gawd. She’s an inspiration to a lot of little girls wanting to get into the film industry when they were young, in the '80s. Have you seen her resume?!!!
I doubt this is true, but man, a woman can dream of such talent at least helping Blizz out - they are probably reaching out to any wealthy friend with talent in the entertainment industry right now - and that is what a game is about - entertainment, which SL essentially killed.

I’m still failing to see the hate on this woman. I guess you weren’t born when I first started seeing her name get plastered more and more in the producing section of blockbuster movies – and what, every one was supposed to be a rallying success?
Kathleen Kennedy is like Michael Bay. Everyone hates them, but they know how to make that mouse money.

Actually as it happens I was watching a documentary on Jurrassic Park on Netflix and apparently she is the one that really pulled a rabbit out of a hat making that movie. She really should have left the storytelling to the experts and kept being a fixer, since apparently she is good at that.

My biggest pet peeve is where they came out and admitted they had no actual plan for the sequel trilogy. Just, let’s wing it on the biggest most profitable brand in entertainment. The reshoots, the firing of directors on every movie just reeks of lack of foresight and leadership.
I am glad Feloni didn’t take over, he seems to be a lore story guy and just doesn’t have what a leader should be. He would be the Ion of the SW universe - great at a job but moved above that job.
Favre seems to be the real deal, I mean he did start the current MCU with Iron Man (unless you are those like me who think it really started with Blade)
Well, the be fair, her resume is a bit of both sides. She has definitely had success in the past. I know people argue about whether that success was propped on others, but the success is there. In more recent times, she has shown a bit of an issue in being able to pivot when a property begins to falter. The Star Wars franchise has suffered quite a bit from lack of direction or long term planning. Her directors have admitted to having no long term plan for continuity even between movies in succession. I am not sure that type of approach would bode well for a game like this with such a fervent fan base. I don’t find her ability to roll with a fan base to be her strong point. So, I guess it depends on what she would be in charge of. She definitely has a ton of experience and has made a career for herself. Have to admire that.

he is - so is she - i was raised on her in my twenties - no, this woman has worked hard and come along way. She is smart and savy. A few movies don’t define a career. Let alone Star Wars - which was just a cash cow - and guess who knows how to bring entertainment and money to a company? Ever see one without a few failures, /cough, ahem, shadowlands, cough

I can appreciate her work from the 80s especially as a producer. ET, back to the future, Indiana Jones.
My absolute biggest gripe is she hired some dipstick to direct the Force Awakens despite the fact he loosly remade and butchered a classic movie from another scifi setting. Then proceeded to hire an absolute philistine to direct the second movie and then rehired dipstick for the third one. Leaving an absolute mess of continuity between movies that watch more like a badly written fan fiction with a large budget.
I was born in the late 80s. I watched the movies she produced as a kid.
Now that I think about modern wow’s lore and Starwars have a lot in common.
The story is being written like some bad fan fiction.
